Located almost directly off the Trans Canada Hwy, the Overland is a charming motel consisting of 12 spotless units on a well kept,willow-shaded property. The owner/manager is a warm, helpful lady who actually cares about your enjoyment and satisfaction. It isn't a Pan Pacific or Four Seasons but at 95 dollars/nght on a long weekend and 5 mins drive to the lake, you can't go wrong.Enjoy !

A DEFINITE 2 THUMBS UP FOR THE OVERLANDER MOTEL! CLEAN COMFORTABLE ROOMS, FRIENDLY AND VERY HELPFUL MANAGEMENT, THE GROUNDS ARE WELL KEMPT IN A PEACEFUL SETTING AND VERY WELCOMING. DON'T MISSOUT ON BOOKING HERE. We stayed here for two nights as a "home base" so we could tour the area during the day. It was a good feeling coming back in the late afternoon/evening with a few groceries in hand to make a quick meal (save $$) then relax outside. There are all kinds of close by dining options if that's your thing too.

Room Tip: We had a kitchenette with table and chairs, a queen bed and a sofa/coffee table. Most importantly for us on the bike, a quick unload right into our room from our parking spot. Personally we favour rooms that allow us to sit right outside our door and enjoy the beautiful views and also have quick access to the bike. This motel has it all.
