Superb hotel. Amazing view from rooms. Restaurant's even better. Wifi is fast. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Native history is interesting. Will be back again. Only drawbacks are 1) If you put DND sign and forget to remove it, hotel staff are not able to clean your room past 6pm and 2) Breakfast ends too early.

Room Tip: Get the jacuzzi room on 3rd floor at far end of the building.

We have previously been here for golf and meals and lunches but recently had occasion to stay overnight with our dog. I was more than surprised that they did in fact not only accommodate us with our pet but have specific rooms set up for our four-legged friends. Our room had a large dog bed on the floor, there were dog dishes, waste bags and treats for the dogs. In all our travels we have never had such lovely accommodation. The floors were super clean, bed very comfortable and best of all, there was a sliding glass door for the dog to use the grassy area right outside the room. AMAZING ! The hotel itself is beautiful with the huge log lodge interior and native art . Our dinner was enjoyable with various game offerings like venison, elk and bison. The BAnnock was very good too. The people were great and couldn't do enough for you.. All this and set beside a beautiful lake with gorgeous sandy beaches. and a golf course that hubby thoroughly enjoyed from previous visits in summer.
By the way, our other family members had a large dog as well and again… no problem..
I would recommend this resort to anyone…and I can't wait to return and stay in a jacuzzi room.
All in all, I think it was an extraordinary and pleasant experience.

We went to the Quaaout Lodge & Spa for a weekend work party and we had a great time. The views from the rooms of the lake was awesome. The party we were with has arranged the dinner for all of us and it was so good. The Maple Vinaigrette dressing on the salad was the best I have ever had. The rooms were very nice and beds were very comfortable, the in room robes were a very nice touch. We had the brunch the next morning and it was one of the best arrangement of food I have seen in a bruch. The chief making the omlettes was great and very tastey. Great guest services.

Room Tip: Get a room with the lake view!!!

Plenty of parking, clean rooms, great facility and a killer view! Breakfast was very good for the price! My only complaint was I was put in an accessible room and the shower head had to be used in your hand, it couldn't stay on the wall. Good location and very comfortable beds.

Room Tip: Avoid the accessible rooms.

We stayed in the suite with the jacuzzi tub and fireplace. I highly recommend this suite. You can be soaking in the tub, and either watch the big screen TV, become entranced by the fireplace or look out the window at the lake and surrounding mountains. The restaurant off the lobby is average. The crab cake that came with my order was inedible, but the soup and salad was decent. We were there mid-week during the day in January, so that might've had something to do with it.

We enjoyed an enjoyable and relaxing stay at Quaaoute Lodge, with good guest services, a very clean and a well maintained room that overlooked the lake and green areas, and pleasant hosts. Our family is mixed in their eating styles, and the chefs at Jack Sam's restaurant accommodated our wish for vegan meals as well as local game and fish throughout our stay. We appreciated the care they took. And we had super massages at the spa!

Our daughter's wedding was held at the Quaaout Lodge in September. It couldn't have been better - weather cooperated, wedding took place backing onto the lake which made for a beautiful setting. The reception afterwards was wonderful - setting, food all first class. Quite a few guests booked rooms at the Lodge and everyone was extremely happy. The rooms are clean and beautiful. We had many comments on how wonderful everything was. We were a tad concerned the morning of the wedding when there was a major power outage. The staff didn't skip a beat ... breakfast was served and you would never know there was a problem. The front desk staff were helpful in allowing my daughter's hairdresser to do her hair in the lobby which had the only active power outlet. We did have one minor incident but the way the staff handled it, especially, Stephan the Manager made us feel they truly care about their guests.
I would recommend the Quaaout for a relaxing getaway, a great golf game and especially for a wedding venue.

Room Tip: Lakeview rooms are wonderful
