“Looked scary but wasn't so bad.”

This is a renovated property, that looks rather dull and unkept from the outside. The restaurant in the same building is closed so not very inviting.
That said, the room was older but clean and the front desk personal friendly.
If it is just an overnight for a family reunion where you are not spending much time in your room, it is fine. The bedding and bathroom were clean.

The Brusnswick appears to be run by a couple who spend the better part of their day, and night. They're quick and quiet, but are not quick to offer help. I was struck immediately by the expense of the room, which seemed high considering the state of the inn.

The building (and rooms) smell of stale cigarette smoke and the windows don't open so you can't air out your room. The room we checked into had two VERY small double beds, one of which still had the hair of the last guest strewn about the sheets. More hair was later found in the sink and tub of the bathroom which drove me to request that someone replace the sheets and clean the bathroom.

Even with the sheets replaced you couldn't help but notice that the quilt and pillows had never been replaced or washed, and despite requesting someone to clear the bathroom the towels appeared to have been hanging there for some time.

There was no iron, ironing board, coffee maker, microwave, or alarm clock in the room.

For my money; I'll be getting a room at the Super 8 next time. I was flat out disgusted by my stay at The Brunswick. I'm going to take a shower.

Room Tip: Stay somewhere else!

Recently stayed at the hotel. Reserved a room with a king size bed three months prior to accommodation and arrived to find out that the room assigned had 2 double beds. No apologoy was offered, just a take it or leave it. My opinion is that I should have been given that choice when I first booked, not upon arrival.

In addition, there are no standard in room amenties such as in room coffee, iron/board (not available from the desk, either), or blow dryer. The price is higher than any other hotel in the town.

Apparently there is a continental breakfast available with the room, but information was not provided. Food selection includes toast, cheerios and an applie if you root around in the fridge. The eating area is not clean and the furniture is filthy. In addition, the workout room is located in the middle of the breakfast eating area.

The only in room information available is signs posted in the room that a charge of 5.00 would be imposed if the door keycard was not returned, and a second sign that states a 500 fine would be imposed if you smoke in the room. Too bad that they can't give information about the services that actually come with the room. but are more worried about how they might be disadvantaged.

I will never stay in that facility again.
