“Championship Course at a municipal course price”
Reviewed August 4, 2013

Really good bang for your buck! Course is always in great shape, 4 tee boxes on each hole, lounge puts out excellent food.

“Ok greens but construction everywhere!!?”
Reviewed September 28, 2012 via mobile

I played this course with some friends in August. and had high expectations as they said on their website. What a disappointment... we were not told 2 holes were out of play and the course was flooded.. despite this we were charged $90 each to play! No "Im sorry" nothing to make up of the mess. we were told we could play 2 holes twine though.... well thanks. When i complained to the manager, she was full of excuses and treated me like I was the problem... well when you charge me $90 to play our course I will expect more than a Less than average muni course. This course is a.money grab and we will never return or recommend it to any of our friends... yes we raised our expectations and we disappointed badly.

“Nicely varied holes”
Reviewed January 6, 2012

The clubhouse is becoming dated but it does have a great balcony for those 19th hole refreshments. The golf doesn't get repetitious with a nice variety of looks on most holes. Tee boxes are only average, greens O.K. but the fairways mostly in good shape.

“We have been to stony plain golf club on...”
Reviewed July 24, 2010

We have been to stony plain golf club on a regular basis for over 5 years. We have seen great improvements on the course and clubhouse over the years. However, pn both occasions this year, we have been treated very poorly by both the Pro shop staff and the on course staff. Seems there was a change and now the course is more private than public at least that is how we were made to feel. Very disappointed and any of our concern have fell pn deaf ears. I think of the price was raised as high as it is at least the staff could be friendly to customers.
