During our stay there was no heat in the room. It took a number of phone calls to the front desk and a trip to the desk to get the clerk back inside from smoking at 2:30 AM to finally get the heater looked at. The end result was a new room that was smaller, no apology from the staff and a verbal response they would not charge us EXTRA. It took two weeks for us to finally speak to the manager over the phone who said the staff involved would be spoken to and taken care of, no apology was still given ("I'm sorry" would have gone a long way) and the manager was not inclined to give us any discount or make up for the trouble encountered during our stay. She eventually gave us 10% off the room rate, but that still seemed inadequate considering it was -29 and our original room was on the ground floor in a corner. It says a lot when the fridge in the room was warmer than the room itself. At $140 per night we expect better. Our stay was a bad experience with the staff and the room and we will not be visiting there again. My friends living in Pincher Creek will no longer recommend this hotel to any of their other friends or family.

Stayed at this Hotel for one night whilst travelling through Canada.
Hotel has just added a new wing to their building and although it was a bit of a trek to the room (things will improve once the lift is operational) the room was fantastic. It was more reminiscent of a boutique hotel rather than motel.
Not much of a view but wasn't expecting one.
New rooms have plenty of space, comfortable beds, flatscreen TV and full cable service. Large bathroom, and small kitchen area including coffee maker and microwave.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Bar was good although lacked any atmosphere.
Recommended for short stays/ overnighters.

When needing a ski package that was reasonable, the Heritage Inn was very accomodating. The hotel was clean but it definately seemed a bit older. However, the staff compensated with their very friendly attitudes, where they made it feel like they valued you as a customer. I don't know how else to describe them but as a hotel that was "service-orienated". We felt very welcome

They have a restaurant right in the hotel so after a day of exaustion from skiing, it was really handy. The selection of the salad bar was outstanding!! When we pulled up it was obvious that the hotel was undergoing construction. Upon speaking with the receptionist we found out that they will be building a pool and a spa area, as well as more modern rooms. I think that this will be a big attribute to the facility and will definately make it a spot to hit in the summer. It's much cheaper than Waterton Hotels too!!

Ok The pictures here must be 20 years old, the rooms are terrible, really outdated and there is no such thing as a non smoking room. The place is run by kids and they don't know how to do their job.
When you arrive and want to connect to the internet they charge you a $50 refundable fee, ok I can understand. But the kid who checked me in forgot to, and when I checked out the kid who did that fo me credited me the $50 that I never paid!. I noticed this while eating breakfast and went over and showed him and said I need to have that fixed because it's not right. I should have just let it be because it took this poor jughead 30 minuets to fix the bill and I was almost late for work.
The restaraunt is okay but I recommend going to the Swiss Chalet across the street it's much better.

A friend and I were looking to get away from the busy and expensive Ski Resorts of Alberta and found the best gem and superb package deal. Based on a double occupancy we slept, had a great eggs and bacon breakfast and skied for 84 bucks CDN.

The drive from Calgary is stunning on the secondary highway 22, and only an hour further than it is to Banff. I would advise driving during daylight to enjoy the beautiful vistas of the Longview country.

Pincher Creek itself it a cozy little country town with a funky little main street, and the drive to the ski hill(appx. 45 km away) is also a nice little country drive through a couple cute hamlets.

Our first impression of the heritage Inn staff was leery, but upon conversation they turned out to be very helpful and friendly. The Dinning room is a standard roadside cafe and the lounge is a definite no go, smoky with the ambiance of slot machines.

All in all a great deal for an excellent day of skiing at an excellent price, especially compared to the over priced snobbery of Banff and Lake Louise.
