We traveled to High River for a school sporting event and booked rooms at the Super 8 - the Ramada across the parking lot was $20 more per room for the same room.
Check in was quick and efficient and the room was clean and comfortable - a bit on the smallish side but the 2 queen beds where comfortable.
Breakfast room was also a bit small, but worked great. Staff allowed us to order in team pizza and use the room to eat supper. The lady working in the breakfast room in the AM was very helpful. Kids enjoyed the water slide and pool, but the hot tub was down for repairs.
Be aware that even 4 months after the devastating floods, the town of High River is still recovering. There where very few restaurants (usual fast food ones, but not much for sit down service) or stores reopened and my daughter forgot her swim suit and there was no where OPEN to purchase a new one.
Overall, I would recommend to others as a clean and basic place to stay and would stay again.More
