“A most stop if traveling through Minot”
Reviewed August 5, 2014

This is a wonderful park with replicas from each of the five Scandinavian Countries. The Norwegian Gol Stave Church Museum is absolutely incredible! Plenty of picnic tables and would be a great place to sit and enjoy lunch with family.

“Scandinavian Park”
Reviewed July 25, 2014

Loved this park! Staff was soooo knowledgeable, friendly & helpful. Amazing what a community can do. The water way was not really working & was blocked off, but it did not really detract from our enjoyment.

Very interesting architecture and nicely done park, but when you meet someone like HER, it ruins the whole experience.

“Park of Nordic attractions”
Reviewed July 24, 2014

This park has buildings and artistic designs representative of the 5 Nordic countries: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. There is a visitors center with maps, books, art, carpentry, t-shirts, and other things often found in a visitors center or gift shop. There are other buildings that are of the design of particular countries that include some art and some tools. There is a museum in one of the more modern buildings. There are statues scattered around the grounds. The church pictured above is very ornate with intricate carvings. There were a couple of volunteers who presented orated information about some of the buildings to any visitors who wanted to listen. It is kind of a small park but very easy to navigate. I enjoyed walking along the self-guided tour, taking photographs and talking with the volunteers.
