The price was right for the room at this Inn. The desk clerk was inatentive at best and didnt seem to know the price which is quoted on the internet for the motel. Had to have a discussion with his boss. told me that the price we booked at was below what was supposed to be charged. this was during the state fair, and i think they increase the rates at this time but some how missed the boat. the room was ok, the toilet was in need of a new seat as it was all cracked, one of these padded seats. the shower was dark and musty a bit. the room is very dated, i understand there have been renos since then, but the pictures shown on the company web site still show the same room we were in. the beds were too big for the room, but clean and comfortable as they take up the WHOLE ROOM, and the tv is ancient. the fridge was a nice thing to have, and replaced a safe, as there was still a spot for this. terrible use of space wth the huge dresser against the wall for. the room was definately pieced together in different decades.there was 2 chairs crowded in just to top it off. I definately would of preferred a table as to the huge dresser closet. we were next to the pool and this was nice, however the pool closed down at 10 pm, lol. so much for vegas. the whole {--}city was closed except for walmart and dennys, oh and bars. there was no place to take teens except bowling and the theatres. see how many times that goes over...so if the pool would of stayed open till midnight it would of been nice. even the Starbucks is closed. the continental breakfast is very basic. this is expected for the price. toast, cereals, muffins, cheap cookies, and store donuts! milk, and juice. no fruit or waffles. there are better places to stay in minot, but the price is right here, so in a pinch it can do. Put it last on the booking list. the rooms were cleaned daily, with fridges and the pool is clean. staff are indifferent.
