If I want to compare this hotel with other ones, it has huge amount of advantages vs. disadvantages. It is located on 2nd line street and you can reach to the beach by 5 minutes of walking through small marketplaces and restaurants.
The other thing is indoor/outdoor pool which you can use if you want. But I have to mention that the pool water is cold, It is not only for Shipka hotel, but also it is same in all the others even international hotel. The other bonus is top floor rooms. Because of our anniversary I requested a top floor room and Mrs, Nada gives us a sea view room on tenth floor, she is very open hearted and I appreciate her. We have a special view of the sea and blinding sunrise.
The wifi is acceptable but it's only work in rooms and it's not work in restaurant, pool or lobby.
Room service is good enough and the towels have changed everyday. I think the airconditioning system is a little weak for higher temperature weather.
check in/out is fast and we didn't linger on this process.
But the worst thing is the lack of room safe box, so we paid 35 lev for 7 nights and everytime we need to our stuff we should take our safe key and the safebox's receipt. It is really battering us everytime.
