Description: The restaurant has a central location on the pedestrian promenade overlooking of the sea /within 2 minutes walking from the well known hotel "Admiral". Restaurant "The Old House" combines authentic Bulgarian atmosphere of a traditional house with a beautiful patio where fresh organic vegetables, herbs and flowers are grown. There are many places for outdoor seating around a landscaped courtyard. Inside the venue there is a large dining space furnished with traditional wooden furniture. On the other side of the house there is a spacious terrace with beautiful sea views. The restaurant serves up the most traditional Bulgarian dishes prepared according to old recipes - traditional sac platters, various stews and dishes in clay pots /kavarma, kapama and others/, tasty appetizer dips/as Aubergine sauce (kiopolu) and tomato chutney (liutenitsa)/, homemade bread, grilled meats and refreshing salads. Every evening a whole lamb/pork and chicken/ is roasted on a spit on fire the so called Cheverme /one of the trademarks of the Bulgarian cuisine/. The above delicacies are usually consumed with a glass of good wine. The Bulgarian wines are famous for their superb taste. Another popular alcoholic beverage in the country is the rakia /made from grapes, plum, pears or other fruites/. Every evening a gypsy orchestra takes care of cheerful mood. The orchestra performs music of different styles, languages that will satisfy even the most delicate desires of the guests of the restaurant.

Fish was good but there are better places in Golden Sands. If you will be bored of eating in other restaurances go ahead. You won't be dissapointed

We enjoyed everything we had.
I will attach some picture that can help you decide if you consider going there . I definitely recommend the garlic bread that they make in the restaurant.
The staff is friendly .We stayed outside on the terrace where the view over the sea is great . The music is a little too loud . I think in the evening they have live music but we did not go during the night.

We were in this restaurant several times in July and September, and met a very nice man there by the name of Mitko. We will be back again next year!

We were all inclusive but we always go out for a couple of meals.

This restaurant gets 2 marks - one for the superb position with a table looking out to sea and the other for the delicious potato soup which was our first course.

Unfortunately the main course was horrible. My wife had a Kavarma (a chicken stew) which had been over cooked so that it was so dry and just left stringy meat. She complained but the waitress did not care less. I had a mixed meat skewer which was, with exception to the chicken, was, also, dry.

The meal was not cheap and we hoped that as they were competing with the many all inclusive holidaymakers needs to be of the highest quality, which it was not.

I've been visited this restaurant about 8 times in 3 years. At the begining was very good. Year after year prices go higher and now are over the roof. But worse than this is the music played there, so loud that is impossible to hear everything else, like your companion. Was my preferred place but now is more than disagreeable.
