The only positivie feature of the hotel is that the rooms are clean. They chieted me i have paid for triple but they gave me double + extra armchair very uncomfortable as a third bed.We arrived after dinnner and when we came the manager suggested to buy water and food from restaurant although we have already paid for that day,we had all inclusive. The coffee was not coffee but poor imitation of it,The food very poor, and not refilled.
To be short spoiled vacation.
On the whole the impression was very bad of the country and the people, everybody trying to chiet tourists,

Room Tip: never take sea view the sea is 600 meters away and you will just lose your money you will not see the sea

We have been visiting the golden sands resort for many many times during the last 10 years or so. This time we chose Central hotel as a last minute choice , that was the only hotel available for us as a family ( 2+ 2 kids)
We don't like all inclusive deals so we took HB which was again a smart choice allowing us to take lunch outside the hotel ( at the mall or at the beach).
First impression was not good- dark lobby (normal view in eastern Europe , they are saving electricity ), but the receptionist was sweet , the bell boy was kind and friendly (even though was not asthetic ). Then we entered the room.... The room was clean, big enough and nice looking . A few technical issues ( not enough towls, fridge not working, not enough blankets....) all was solved by the hotel workers fast enough so we could not be too upset :)
The only problem which was not solved was the shower which had a very slow running water....but really slow! The tv was very small and not an LCD or similar ( I guess its a 12 ") but we were too busy to watch any tv.
The food was a surprise - very tasty ! The dining team was very nice, kind and Freindly. Near the dining area they arranged small cars and bikes for the kids so we could eat at the balcony while my boy is running around on his bike. That was brilliant! One thing to improve- please arrange some coffee , it was the worst coffee ever, forcing us to start a coffee diet ....
There are no activities or animation for kids but a nice small toys and games room which again my son ( less then 4 years ) really loved!
The sea looks far but with a hidden shortcut it takes 5 minutes to walk ( by stairs ) and arrive to the gate of admiral hotel , right on the beach !
To summarize : last minute best vacation ever!! The hotel is sweet , not luxury but we enjoyed it.

We arrived last week (from Romania) in Bulgaria to Central Hotel, hoping to benefit of the best conditions that were presented to us.
-The room was ok, big size and with air conditioning. But the cleaning staff came every day but did note replace the toilet paper or the cleaning products as the initially said.
in spite of this, the personal was very welcoming and treated the guests politelly.
Well... but there are some things that tourists are not told. For example:
-the room had a tv, with cable, but a very very small tv.
-the hotel has 4 stars, but the restaurant has 3 (although i would catalog it at 2 stars). The food is awful. Yes, I had All Inclusive, but almost nothing to choose from. All the food is fried in so much oil and is tasteless. Some "meat" which was presented in a picture as being pork or steak was actually soy! Fortunately there were some fresh vegetables. As far as the included drinks were concerned, you could have chosen from a dispenser, and the beer and wine also.
-yes, the hotel has a pool and chairs for sunbathing, but without a mat !!! I really can not describe the discomfort I had trying to have a relaxing moment at the sun. I felt that chair with every part of my body. And really, we are talking about a 4 star hotel!
-before you buy your ticket your are announced that parking is assured by the hotel. So, you think is included in the price. Yes, they can provide you a parking seat, for 30 LEVA / day. This mean about 14 EURO, or 70 RON. And this way your car can sleep tight. I`am glad I didn`t go with the car because you don`t really need it in Goden Sands.

Overall we had a good time, but I don`t think we`ll come back to Bulgaria very soon.
Last but not least, with nothing to do with the hotel but, I think important for everyone who wants to spend their holiday in Golden Sands, the beach prices: 8 leva/seat, 3 leva/mat and 8 leva/umbrella. So, for 2 people a day of sunbathing = 30 leva.

Room Tip: Park view.

we stayed there for 2 weeks. The hotel is fantastic. it has even playroom for children. the food was basic, but good. the location is near the center and not to far from the beach. the room are very big with the great balcony. the cleaned it every day. the staff was very nice. We had bed weather, but we did other things. We drove with the train to amphitheater to watch bulgarish dance, we went on the golden coasts eye and we visited market. the only thing which was bad, was the enviroment. They have the barrier, that distinguish the local people from the tourists.

Room Tip: every room is good room. all are the same

We've never stayed in an all inclusive and I tend to avoid this sort of beach holiday, but we added it as a week of relaxing after spending two weeks hiking and sightseeing across Bulgaria and we're really glad we did.

The food is simple but bountiful and generally tasty - the only drawback is that they don't change the menu that often, but given the locale it's not a major issue to find something a little different every once in a while. The drinks are all Bulgarian and there seemed no limit nor complaint when we would ask for double round to take to the pool rather than wandering back and forth all of the time. Indeed, the range offered on all-inclusive was such that we were able to ask for several cocktails.

The staff were pleasant and polite, and seemingly pleasantly surprised that we had actually picked up a few Bulgarian phrases (thank you goes a long way). And our room was clean and pleasant with a fab air-conditioner. Our balcony was a little late afternoon sun trap as well, up on the seventh floor and leaving us able to relax in the sunset after a day of sunbathing or swimming.

And yes, there is wi-fi but only in reception. Oh and the gym is rubbish.

To be honest, I preferred the hotel to being on the beach which can get a bit too much. It was a pleasant and clean hotel that felt comfortable and welcoming. The issues are merely little niggles (the distance to the beach, about 500 metres down some steps actually allows a good nights sleep away from the noise of the all-night parties) and greatly out-weighed by the pros.
