We arrived at 10 a clock in the evening and after check-in we realized that even in our booking reservation it's mentioned that we have air conditioning, you have to pay extra money if you want to plug in.
On the other hand at our late arrival we received dinner even if the period for this was closed (we had Half board reservation). We choose the food form the menu and it was ok. Also, it was very nice to eat outside on the terrace and there was a nice singer that was chilling the atmosphere.
Next day at breakfast we had a big surprise because the food wasn't so good: vegetables without taste, awful coffee,
In the evening was the same: bed meat, bed fries and so on.
Hotel doesn't have elevator! So you must consider this if you have some problems with climbing with luggage's.
Room is spacious, clean and nice. We had a balcony with sea view and was very nice to stay in the night there.

We arrived at around 2 o clock in the morning. When we got to our room the cards we had been given didn't work. We were told at first we would have to wait until the morning for a new card. This meant a night of no power and not being able to leave the room as we couldn't get back in!

After some arguing this was eventually sorted.

View from our rooms was terrible and the balconies were dangerous, the wooden fencing was all cracked and very loose.

Internet would not work in the rooms.

Bathrooms absolutely stink.

Parking is terrible, the spaces have chains across however these are rarely done up meaning people park there all day just to go to the beach.

Trying to ask for a parking space is damn near impossible and we kept being offered a taxi instead.

We tried explaining our problems to the staff who unfortunately did not understand a word of English. The only staff who did were the bar staff which. This is due to the hotel being 99% german

Personally id stay away from this hotel and never go again

I stayed in this hotel in July 2015. The hotel is an all inclusive only hotel and is situated up on a hill overlooking the Black sea. From the hotel it is a reasonable 5- 10 minute to the nearest beach and I would say more of a 15 – 20 minute walk to the centre of Golden Sands (Not 200 metres as suggested by the receptionist). The views are nice from the rooms. I would suggest choosing a higher room for a better view. I only stayed two nights so the meals for me were fine. I would imagine it could get a little monotonous if staying for a week or more. The beer and wine was ok with friendly bar staff. I would recommend this hotel as it is a reasonable price and quite comfortable.

We've been in this Hotel in late Aug. 2013 with my girlfriend.
Originally, we have booked 7 nights in another 4 star hotel, but after 3 nights we have rather moved to Kini Park, and it happened to be a good decision even though we had to pay an extra night in the original Hotel.
In my opinion this hotel has a great value for the price. The Hotel was full of life, which is great. If you want balance between the party going on the main street, and some silence, then this Hotel is a good decision.
In details:

Room:
The rooms are basic, but comfortable. The bed is not too hard, not too soft, just fine.
Otherwise the whole room is clean and practical. If you don't want to spend your holiday in your room, it's just fine. The only bad thing is that some noise is coming through the walls, but still it was OK for us.
Worth mentioning that on the 2nd floor there are some sofas at the end of the stairs with a beautiful view on the sea!

Breakfast:
I was not amazed by the breakfast. The warm foods were cold, and were not changing during our stay. Otherwise it was still OK. There was a lot of things to choose from.

Location:
Not the best location, but at least it's situated in a calm park, around 15 minutes walk from the main street. The hotel has a well lit dedicated stairway up to the hotel entrance which is a huge advantage compared to other Hotels up on the hill. Overall, it's just a good walk after the dinner.

Staff:
The woman on the reception was quite helpful and nice!

Facilities/Services:
This is the biggest adventage of the Hotel. The pool is medium sized, but a bit cold.
The free table tennis was superb! We've played a lot!
There's also a billiard table and a table soccer for around 1 EUR per game.
During our stay there were live music at every night in the outdoor part of the restaurant/bar.
The internet is paid, but only around 3 EUR per 24 hour.
Overall, the hotel was full of life, and we had pretty good times there.

I would recommend everyone who wants balance between peace and party in golden sands, but still don't want complete silence.

Room Tip: If you want calm, ask a room on the side opposite to the beach (because of the live music, and the bar). Otherwise, the sea can be seen from the 3rd floor.

My husband and I have returned yesterday from a stay of seven nights at Kini Park Hotel. We decided last minute to go to Golden Sands and booked only a few days before our stay a room at this hotel after reading the reviews at Tripadvisor. We found them to be very helpful. We have booked our room via booking.com and were not disappointed when we got into the hotel and our room. From the first until the last night we were vey pleased with the accomodation and our choice. Everything was as neat and clean as stated in the other reviews and therefore I highly recommed this hotel to all tourist who want a peaceful and relaxing holiday in a nice place. The hotel is a 10 min. walk from the beach and a 20 minute walk from the center of the resort. We considered the walk to be very pleasant and not to long for a young couple allthough it might be a little too much for elderly people and children. We liked especially the swimming pool area, the music played at evening and the fact that there is the possibility to play table tennis and billiard. If we return to Golden Sands we will certainly consider to stay again at this hotel.
