what a lovely hotel right on the beach olympic size pool we were only b&b so i can only comment on breakfast which was repetative mainly continental but fresh daily and adequate the staff were very freindly and spoke good english the hotel was mainly germans with some russians but we had no problems we changed our money in the hotel as it was a very good rate with no commisions our room was cleaned daily with clean towels and was a good size only downsides were mattresses have seen better days but were ok hotel is just on the edge of the more touristy area and close to lots of very good cheap restaurants it was quiet at night we will be returning next year it is a lovely place

Room Tip: probably on the pool side overlooking the beach and nessebar

visited sunny beach for the second year in a row and had absolutly no quams about staying in europa again this year, my main requests of a holiday hotel are as follows, short transfare, europa is only 20 mins away, clean comfy beds, yes on both points, clean bathroom with decent shower, very clean and the pressure is impressive, large clean pool, europa has an olympic size with an abundance of loungers, right on the beach, you are two min walk from one of the best beaches ive seen in the world and i travel alot, it is pure white powder sand and the water is warm, all warersport facilities you could want are 5 min walk down the beach, the food is better than i would expect from a three star, not worth doing AL but half board is worth it, reason for this is the fact that it is surrounded by steak houses which do amazing deals like two meals for under £20 incuding wine or beer, the steak or squewer kebabs are cooked in front of you on large outdoor grills, europa hotel is smack bang in the middle of the busy hub of shops bars and resturants, the shops are every womens dream filled with handbags scarfs sunglasses and watches all in very recognisable brands ;) the veiw from the small balcony at night is spectacular with all the lights on one side and the sea and pool on the other, now this is a three star so dont be expecting opulance but for the price they charge you will be very pleasantly surprised, the staff are also very helpful and work so hard, i would highly recomend europa to my family and friends.

Room Tip: the rooms on the end get the veiws of both beach and night lights, lower floors get better wifi

This is my 2nd year running at the europa hotel and ive never! been the same place twice!! I'll bullet point the thing that interest me!
Location - fantastic, beachfront hotel
hotel - clean, regular towel changes, big enough rooms, all have balconies with pool/beach or town view - side rooms have all 3! 2 swimming pool located at seperate bits so kids pool not directly next to big pool. Main pool is olympic size with plenty of sunloungers. All Inclusive probs not worth it as the food/drink is sooo cheap! However if you do go AL - we did the 1st year and half board this year - there is always something you can eat but this is a mostly german hotel so dont expect british food. Free wifi in the lobby - u can buy for the room for a week but poor signal so not worth it and all the pubs round about have free wifi so just ask for all the passes! The breakfast always had fried eggs/bread and you can make toast etc so its fine. Sunny beach is miles of shops bars restaurants all very very cheap ie pint of beer/glass of wine £1 cocktails 2 for £5 - a meal for 2 with drinks £15, cant argue with that! The beach is white sand, lots of loungers, miles long and shallow quite far our so safe for all.Nessebar is the next town and worth a visit - 10 mins on local bus for 50p! i highly reccoment bulgaria and the europa.

Room Tip: the luxury beach tent on the beach is beautiful and very cheap for cocktails and BBQ food which was...

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a week in may. It was a lovely clean hotel with marble floors in the reception area and the rooms were spacious with a decent size balcony. The pool was very big which was cleaned daily and the bar area was good with table tennis and bar games. The only problem we found without sounding prejudice is that we were the only British couple in the hotel and we were told when there off a local barman is that's who they cater for in general.

stayed in Europa for 10 days in May while searching for friends, it was nice. the hotel and rooms were clean, the staff were helpful the food, even though i had only breakfast was good. the pool Olympic size was nice and clean and a life guard. the only drawbacks that i found that the bars cater basically for all inclusive guests. no draught beer unless your A.I. and the internet price is exhorbitant. but otherwise nice place right on the beach.

Room Tip: get up high away from street noise.

we booked this hotel in a travel agents in stara zigora, while staying there with friends. we requested a hotel that was near the beach, that was our only request.
the travel agent showed us the europa hotel, said it was right on the beach, a 3 star, but did tell us the hotel was a bit dated but clean. we booked it for 7 nights.
on arrival at the europa we were more than surprised, as the lobby looked anything but dated.
on arrival to our room's we were pleasantly surprised to find a very clean room with fridge and air conditioning.
the room was cleaned each day, and daily towel change.
the bed linen appeared to be changed every second or third day and the cleaning staff were very friendly to us.
we booked b&b and the staff in the dining room were very pleasant and helpful, as i would have some dietary needs. each morning we were greeted with a smile and asked how we were each morning.
there was plenty of food at the breakfast buffet which my partner and sister in law enjoyed, i don't eat breakfast but on the odd morning i did have a piece of fruit & many cups of green tea.
the reception staff spoke good english and we found them very friendly even when busy.
we stayed from 31 st of may for 7 nights but we asked if we could stay three extra nights and there was only availability for two extra nights as the hotel was booked solid for the coming weeks. the room rates are very cheap and this hotel is right in front of the beach and a lovely stroll to the centre of things. there are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops in the vicinity and the centre is approx a 5 minute walk, also the bus station is a mere 10 minute walk away. there are taxi's outside the hotel 24/7 also if you fancy a trip in a horse drawn carraige, these are also outside the hotel & a lovely way to see sunny beach. the little restaurant just down the board walk to the beach was our favourite spot during our stay in sunny beach. the food was great whether we wanted some fruit, snacks or lunch and this family run restaurant/ bar was clean, very reasonable and the family were so very friendly and welcoming we sometimes remained there late and ate our evening meal there with drinks which were also very reasonably priced and we received complimentary drinks and snacks too.
overall our experience of sunny beach was one of our best holidays, so we are returning may 20th for 14 nights. unfortunately we were not able to book the europa and are hoping the hotel we booked will be half as good as europa.
will post a review for that on our return.
one final word, we would have considered the europa hotel a 4 star.
we were happy with booking b&b only as we like to do our own thing and try different restaurants and bars each night, but just a little bit of advice we received from guests both here and in hotels we stayed in elsewhere, if you are full board or even all inclusive, the food can be a bit repetitive so that wouldn't suit me, but there was plenty of salads, soup, bread, meat & veg plus desserts for every taste, but again as with any hotel i stayed in full board or all inclusive, meals can be similar each day.

Room Tip: we got a twin room, but were offered a change but we were happy with the room so didn't bother c...

Went there in June 2012 With two friends. Didn`t expect much, but it was much better than I thought. The room was ok, clean and had everything we needed. We just had breakfast at the hotel, and it was good. The pool is big and Nice, and they even had an animator, a bad one though, but didn`t expect one at all. The animator was really sweet, but she did all morning- and aquagym all wrong, and wasn`t good in playing volleyball at all. Darts and boules were ok. The best thing about this hotel is the location. Right at the beach and close to everything. At night it`s nice to go minigolfing at one of the many courts near by. Wouldn`t go here with kids, because it`s a lot of partying going on and drunk people in the streets from 8- 9 p.m, and also noice in the hotelrooms from all the nightclubs. All in all this is a cheap and nice place, and a good alternative for those on a budget.
