Wonderful hotel and very friendly staff. From a very congested approach road you end up in a beautiful oasis of a hotel. Everyone from the reception desk, the bellboys, dining room staff, and managers greeted you with a smile and asked if I needed anything. The rooms were well equipped with a giant king bed and a wonderful view of the waves crashing into the rocks from the window. The food choice and quality at the restaurant was excellent. I only wish they had a method to get rid of the pesky ravens and crows that were always present in the outdoor dining area. Don't get me wrong, I love birds, but this was a little too close for comfort as they would often get close enough to almost snatch my food! The only drawback is that if you need to travel to downtown Colombo, the traffic is horrendous!
