“Great ending to a long day”
Reviewed September 20, 2013

We did not have a reservation as we mistakenly ended up in Jamestown due to a wrong turn. The front desk was super friendly as we checked into one of their last rooms. Once in our room I was very pleased. We have a 7 month old that is a really light sleeper. You couldn't hear a lot of hallway noise or noise from side rooms. She slept through the night without waking due to noise. Plenty of room to set up her pak n play and still be able to move around. I would defiantly stay another night if had to. It was clean, pleasant & most importantly with our little one quite. Easy exit off the interstate also. Great place to stay! Thanks!

Made a reservation for Friday, Sept 6, 2013. After driving for 7hrs arrived at hotel at 2am very tired and with our 3 children. Unloaded our luggage only to find no one was at the front desk!! There was a note on the desk saying hotel is full and gave a list of other hotels however we had a reservation. Waited for 20min or so then started walking around looking for anyone. Knocked on some doors, called the front desk but could just hear the phone ringing. Called the reservation number and got ahold of someone out of state. They tried calling hotel but couldn't get anyone!! They were quite surprised no one was there! They assured me there would be no charge for our stay but really couldn't do anything for us. Finally left at 3am and went to the new Hampton hotel further down the road! Great place - highly recommend it. Person was actually at front desk and room was cheaper!! Just checked my credit card which is now 2 days later and our credit card has been charged. Will be making another phone call!!

The friendly but daffy girl at the desk didn't know what time services were held at a local church (c'mon: what hotel desk doesn't have a list, if only she could be bothered to look) and seemed to think it was A-OK to let a group of guests set up a smoker and have a loud ribs party under the portico. The partying guests happened to be nice and well-behaved, but that is nowhere near normal for a $100+ hotel. Our car now smells like last night's BBQ! No one has any authority here or cares what happens. Too bad, because the housekeeping in excellent and the rooms are very nice.

Not a brilliant hotel but not a bad hotel. Pleasant staff and rooms were very nice. Price of rooms very reasonable but breakfast food not all that great. Rooms can be a bit tight for a family but about the usual size for a 2 double bed room - like most hotels. If you are looking for a cheap rate and the usual type of room to a larger chain of hotels then this is the place.

I stayed here as part of a long cross country trip. The staff were very helpful with suggestions of places to eat and information about the Buffalo Museum. When I encountered problems with the air conditioning fan, they promptly moved me to another room. The beds were quite comfortable and housekeeping was great. The continental breakfast was served early and facilitated an early start to a long day.

We stayed here two nights for ND high school state baseball playoffs. This hotel honestly had the most comfortable beds I have ever experienced in a hotel setting. Neck-friendly pillows, soft sheets, and a mattress that was just right. SUPER COMFY! I know the hotel itself not brand new, but it must have had a very recent remodel because it felt and looked and smelled brand spanking new. We had a full room and it was nice to have a door that didn't slam shut, and a quiet flushing toilet for the 5 of us that were coming and going. Breakfast was excellent! the hot items were HOT and plentiful and the breakfast attendant was attentive! And this hotel had the BEST SELECTION of coffee creamer I have ever encountered....It is the little things :)
Good work, Jamestown Holiday Inn Express !

Room Tip: We were assigned a corner room 3rd floor and it was quiet and wonderful.

The hotel strives to be the best in town. We have completed some remodelling on the property, but it is not complete yet. We also pride our hotel in its Smart Start Hot Express Breakfast. Once again, thank you for taking the time to let us know how we are doing. We hope to see you again soon!

We stayed two nights.

The room was marked no smoking, but there was still remnants left of the room presumably having been previously a smoking room. It was not totally annoying, but sensitive people might be bothered by it.

The king sized bed was super comfortable and enabled a really good night's sleep which was welcome.

The bathroom was a tiny room with barely enough space for the tub and toilet, but it did the job. The sink was somewhat awkwardly in the same room as the bed.

Breakfast was standard Holiday Inn Express. The first morning we had to wait about 15 minutes for eggs and ham to be restocked. Not great if you are in a hurry, but not a big deal if you didn't want the hot food options.

Location was good and lots of dining options nearby.
