We booked and paid for adjoining rooms 3 weeks before we went to Grand Forks with friends. When we arrived only 1 room was ready and we were told adjoining rooms weren't available. Our friends took the room that was ready and we waited for the other room. Our room was not very clean...microwave,coffee pot, soap dish and toilet bowel were dirty. We had to phone the front desk to ask for a top sheet for the bed! We asked front desk to have the room cleaned the next morning and complained about being on complete opposite ends of the hotel from our friends. They said they would clean the room but there were no adjoining rooms available when we booked three weeks prior. When we checked out the next morning and got our receipts.....the original room booked was crossed off the receipt and a new one written in its place....it wouldn't have been that big of deal if they hadn't lied to us, but, the uncleanliness was not excusable for $130.00 a night!!!

Great hotel! Clean and updated. The pools/hot tubs were great. Loved the continental breakfast. My only complaint would be no elevator. My mom has arthritis and it was difficult taking the luggage up and down the stairs.

We stayed in the Jacuzzi Suite. It was really nice and lots of room for a family of 5.
This hotel is conveniently located withing walking distance to several restaurants and many shopping venues including Columbia Mall. Rooms have recently been updated and they have a really nice pool and several hot tubs. Continental breakfast was nice but could use a little more variety.

My husband and I came to town for the UND Vs. U of M hockey game. The front desk staff allowed us to check in early (which is always greatly appreciated) but weren't the nicest people i've encountered while traveling. The room was well layed out. The bed was amazing!!! I honestly have never slept better. I love the fact that there are 5 hot tubs. Even with the hotel being completely booked that weekend we were still able to ind an open hot tub when we returned form the game around 10pm. Breakfast area is a little tight and not very organized But other than that Stay was very enjoyable. Will Definatley stay again.

Stayed at the C'mon Inn in early January with my family. We had 4 rooms booked. My Father in Law had asked for 2 rooms to have balconies to the courtyard which they couldn't accomodate and he did book well in advance and stays at this property very often with my Mother in law (we joke he should have shares in the place) so we thought that was strange since they did appear to have a lot of rooms available during our stay.

That aside the rooms are all a fair size and well appointed. They've had 42 inch TV's for a while and more recenlty have installed a cable system in each room so you can get some HD channels.

The Courtyard is the big draw at this hotel. It allows for groups of family or friends to utilize the many tables in the area for visiting, snaking etc. and of course they have mulitple hot tubs in the courtyard areas so getting into a hot tub is not difficult. There usually is room in one of them at any given time. Plus the way that the courtyard is set up with the water feature and faux rocks and fauna etc. it kind of seperates and breaks up the noise in the area so it never seems really noisy etc. which is nice. and a great feature is that the pool is in it's own area with glass walls so that the youngsters can get as loud as they want in there while the adults can visit in the courtyard and still hear themselves.

The free breakfast is pretty basic and usually pretty busy but it's sufficient to start your day. Fruit, breads, cereal, juices, coffee and 2 waffle makers. Their toaster could use some work. For such a busy breakfast area and such a busy hotel property in general they should invest in a big industrial toaster instead of a regular toaster that only has one side working ?

If this place can keep it's customer service on their toes and doing a good job and maintain all the little aspects of their property it should continue to be a great option in Grand Forks. Especially when traveling with a group of people.

  • Liked — The Courtyard area and multiple hot tubs

Overall a great place to stay. Very nice atmosphere, 5 hot tubs and there was always at least one empty so you could have one to yourself. Pool area did have a very strong chlorine smell, my kids had very red eyes from all the swimming. We had a suite which was very nice - 50" big screen and our own jacuzzi tub. One problem we did have was no hot water on our last morning. They didn't offer any discount so I was a little disappointed in that. It was a little pricey though. If I'm splurging on a nice place to stay in Grand Forks, I'll stay here. If I'm trying to stay on a budget, I'll probably find somewhere cheaper next time.

  • Liked — Hot tubs and nice courtyard.
  • Disliked — No hot water our last day and a little pricey.

I'm so glad we found this place! I was a little leery about staying here only because there is no water slide for the kids. That was not a problem - my family really enjoyed the pool. There are 5 hot tubs located in the atrium. There is cool decor of waterfalls, little ponds with fish and bridges. My kids thought it was neat.
There is a continental breakfast with waffles which is average but the area is very crowded. Each room around the courtyard has table to use. The second floor has balconies with tables.
The rooms are very nicely decorated in a contemporary style. There is fridge and large flat screen TV. The beds are to die for! The most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. You will not want to get up! I spoke with the staff on the phone a few times from home to discuss reservations and they went out of their way to be helpful. With plenty of shopping and restaurants within walking distance you will not regret staying here.
