My wife and I recently stayed two nights in a double queen room on the top floor while visiting Grand Forks. This hotel is very new and is located close to interstate 29 and the Alerus Center.

We found the room to be comfortably sized and very modern. One of the lamps even featured a USB socket for charging your phone, tablet, etc. without having to use the typical charging brick! The flat screen TV was smaller than I've seen at comparable hotels, but it was nicely mounted to the wall freeing up dresser/desk space.

The bathroom was mostly standard featuring a tub/shower. The sink featured lots of counter top and it even had a shelf below for stowing towels and toiletry bag. The toilet sat taller than most but I found it a bit odd how low on the wall the paper roll was located. There was no fan, and we found the bathroom would fog up during showers.

The breakfast area featured 'just enough' tables and the selection was better than most. Two waffle irons kept things moving when there was enough batter in the dispenser. Hot selections included bacon strips, scrambled eggs, and biscuits and gravy.

The beds were comfortable and featured enough layers for you to choose between warm and cool. The pile of pillows provided on each bed was all the same small very squishy pillows that remind me of bean bags. We both slept comfortably.

The AC worked great and made just enough fan noise to drown out the other guests. The refrigerator worked as expected and was quiet. The turntable microwave was weird and featured a dial that had hardly any range below 5 minutes but allowed you to crank it all the way up to 30 minutes. When complete the machine would sound a very retro-mechanical bell 'DING'.

Other hotel features of note included a business center which basically included two computers and a printer next to the lobby. A workout room with a couple of treadmills, an elliptical, weights and a recumbent bike. The pool was on the small to medium size.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will be back the next time we are in town.

Stayed one night while shopping. Overall was clean and new hotel. Booked with coupon from wpg. Check in quick & easy. Room was nice, modern styling. Wall mounted tv, coffee maker, bar fridge. Larger washroom, nice tiling. Solid doors made room very quiet. Complimentary breakfast was good. Had scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits. Yogurt, cereal, bagels available too. Would definitely stay here again.

My husband and our seven year old just came back from staying at this hotel for three nights. I was totally blown away by the fantastic service that this Hotel has to offer.
We booked with Hotwire so we weren't really sure what to expect. We were so pleased with this beautiful hotel and all it had to offer us.
The Hotel is VERY NEW, so it was super clean and beautifully decorated. The check-in was a breeze and fresh warm cookies were at the front desk for everyone. ( my daughter thought that was very special).
The rooms were exceptionally clean and the beds and pillows are AMAZING!
We were only going to stay for two nights and go to Fargo for the third night BUT the very kind and friendly "Robbin" at the front desk made our decision very easy to stay in Grand Forks.
They helped us with directions to the water park in Fargo and also mentions that they offer a discount to the Canad Inn water park in Grand Forks if you stay during the week. (Good tip)

The hotel has a yummy breakfast and a very clear pool. For the price and star rating of this hotel WE WILL RETURN!!!
Thanks to all the wonderful staff at this hotel for making out little vacation such a great experience.

The reception was very friendly, the room smelled fresh and was well appointed. Breakfast area very well maintained. Good selection of food-hot and cold, lots of place to sit. Good clean pool area. Close to the arena and water slides. Not far from the shopping.

Stayed for two nights for a weekend of shopping. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was excellent with a good variety and lots of seating. Would definitely stay here again.
