Very nice establishment. Have never stayed in an AmericanInn that I did not like. Very clean with friendly helpful staff. Small lounge with limited menu and booze. Awesome Pizza! It's minus 21 degrees outside. But it's nice and warm in my room with zero cold drafts. Lots of kids using the pool and in the hallway, but you cannot hear them in the rooms. I was very pleased with the internet connection and speed. Many hotels have a good connection with poor speeds. I was able to stream video's and use team viewer with no problems. If I were to complain about anything it would be no ATM in the building. Yes a bank has a ATM across the street. But who wants to go out in minus 21 degrees for some cash to buy from the vending machines in the building? I noticed a few reviews complaining about the price. My response to them is If you want a cheap motel go stay at one. They have one in Grafton!

Yes Grafton ND is in the middle of no where.

Room Tip: I stayed on the first floor and it was great.

I have stayed here several times now and will recommend it without question. The staff is very courteous and the rooms are clean and modern. There is a small lounge for drinks and "bar food" and the pool area is spacious. The lobby is nice and the breakfast is good. The beds are really comfortable and the motel is "AmericInn" quiet.

Stayed here for few nights and enjoyed very much. Nice and clean and updated. Not many choices in town and happy to find this one available and clean. Very friendly and helpful in finding things too see and do. Family fun as pool and kids enjoyed.

Room Tip: We enjoy staying on main floor and asked and we received

Best place to stay when in Grafton ND. Good value. Pretty good breakfast. Beds and pillows not as comfortable as I would have liked. Loved the dimmer switch on the hair dryer/ night light, made moving around late at night in a strange place much easier.

I had a wonderful stay here. The staff was very friendly, the room was spotless, and overall it was a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.

The continental breakfast was yummy too!

Definitely recommend!

Too expensive and obviously charging the highest rate possible for a place way out in the middle of E. BFE (look it up in urban dictionary,) where the nearest option in Grand Forks is 43 miles away. I prefer Hilton properties. At Hampton Inns which are about the same level as Americinn I have regularly rented two room suites $40-$60 less per night all around the country, and recently stayed at HILTON GARDEN INN and DOUBLETREE BY HILTON for less than $90 per night and less than $105 per night, respectively, in the last too months. Your rates are greed at its best.

A great choice whether biz or family travel to Grafton. Staff is very helpful. This place has a big pool/hot tub area, cozy [& remodeled] rooms and a great "get going" breakfast. Convenient and reasonably priced (never had a charge over $100). I like upstairs away from the parking lot -- there seems to be many working guests leaving very early -- so don't forget to put up your "Do not disturb" sign on the door. I keep coming back!
