...and that was just the beginning.
We were very excited to spend a weekend in Fargo, my husband's alma mater town. We decided on the Radisson because our weekend included a friend's vow renewal that was happening at the Radisson itself. We were looking forward to the gym, the pool, and the other amenities and quality Radisson traditionally has offered us.
Unfortunately we were sorely disappointed. Upon arrival and check-in (at around 11:00pm), the reception area was entirely empty and I actually had to SEARCH AROUND for someone to check us in. He was chatting up a pretty girl around the corner, not paying attention to his post. First strike. When we arrived at our room, it lacked certain simple amenities like stir sticks, sugar and cream for our morning coffee. This was all disappointing, but forgiveable.
The next morning I woke to find the "pool" was NOT a pool; in fact, there were two small jacuzzis in what may have formering been a pool area. HUGE strike two. The workout room was satisfactory, and did have free bottled water and granola bars (that was a plus).
The water pressure in the shower was intermittent, and on the final morning during our shower, the hot water ran out! I have NEVER experienced this at any hotel, much less a $140/night hotel! I have had better amenities at small town, no-name hotels... STRIKE THREE.
Unfortunately this has ruined the Radisson experience for me, and I may choose to never stay at a Radisson again. I would also recommend to friends, family and tripadvisor aquaintances that they think twice before booking, especially at this location.

We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. This is not the level of service that we are known for. We would like to make this right with you and have a personal conversation with you. Please call the hotel and ask to speak with the general manager or the Manager on Duty.

Always our go-to hotel when in Fargo visiting our NDSU student. It's been fun watching the transformation of this great downtown hotel- the remodeling is very nice. The staff is always accommodating and friendly- exactly what you would expect from a Radisson.

We appreciate your wonderful feedback. With our hotel being so close to NDSU, it makes for a perfect destination to experience the downtown area and still be only minutes away from the tri-college campuses.

We are glad you enjoyed your time here and look forward to seeing you again in the future.

Hotel was excellent for my stay in Fargo. Good value, clean and comfortable. Many rooms have sleep number beds, mine did not. Enjoyed the free shuttle to the airport as well! Staff was excellent as well, very helpful and friendly.

Thank you so much for responding on Trip Advisor. We are thrilled to see that you enjoyed your time while staying with us. We are fortunate to have such talented and wonderful staff members on our team. We do offer complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport. That is also offered with the train station and the bus station. I'm glad you enjoyed that service that we offer.

We hope to see you again when your travels bring you back to the Fargo area.

Wife and I stayed here last night, Feb. 7th. Great staff, they were friendly, helpful and did a great job. The rooms were immaculate. Great beds, great bathrooms. water pressure wasn't too good, but everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable. We ate at the restaurant. It was also fabulous. I would definitely look to stay at this hotel and eat at this restaurant whenever I return to fargo. Parking was also easy and convenient.

Dear Fun1972,
Thank you for sharing your opinions with others on Trip Advisor, we feel it is a "great place" but clearly it is most important that you our guest feel it is a great place! We are glad you enjoyed our restaurant "Zest" as our kitchen and service staff there have really worked hard to make it the best experience in Fargo! We are also pleased you enjoyed the quality and cleanliness of your guestroom and please let us know next time if you feel the water pressure is low as it can be a very simple adjustment to the temperature controller. We wish you safe travels and look forward to seeing you soon here in downtown Fargo! Nick

The employees MAKE THIS HOTEL! We came from Nashville TN to a wedding in FARGO ND in January! The employees were as friendly as any of the folks I'd find in the south. They actually cared about whether everything was ok. We were greeted with friendly smiles and helpful advice. They took care of everything I asked for. And to top it off, I left a shoe in the room when I checked out. They actually saved it for me and shipped it to me! That's a first! I can't say thank you enough!

It's the tallest building in town, so you can't miss it.

The lobby is futuristic and nicely done, with a business centre next to reception.

My room was lovely with a very comfortable bed and pillows. The gorgeous bathroom had excellent towels and toiletries.

There was an iPod dock, coffee maker, TV and internet but no microwave or fridge in the room.

Parking is in the next door parking station and free.

Located downtown, it's walking distance to all restaurants and theatres.

The place to stay in funky Fargo.

We were there for a wedding, and everyone at the hotel was aware of it, and made us all feel welcome from the very beginning. Front desk staff always asked how the events were going, and genuinely seemed interested. When last minute cancellations came up, they accomodated us, and more importantly, when people couldnt' get out because of the snowstorms, they worked everything out for us. We had some special deliveries made to some guests, and the general manager was aware of the request, and completely on top of it. The wait staff at the restaurants, and the bartenders were similarly accomodating, and worked with us, making the whole weekend a pleasant one. Definitely the place to stay in Fargo, as near as I saw. Other boutique hotels were not open when we went looking for something to eat or drink, and this place always had a place to go.

Room Tip: If you can afford it, 1206 and 1306, the 2 room (and they can become 3 rooms) suites made for a wond...

Dear Rocky S.,
We greatly appreciate you taking your valuable time to share your experience with others. We know having the wedding in North Dakota in January was not ideal in some respects but we are so pleased we were able to make it a memorable visit and event! Cheers and again it was our pleasure!
