Cheap drinks, good bands, gambling. It is a truck stop bar, but great drink specials.

“Great Drink Deals”
Reviewed January 16, 2012

I used to frequent this place quite a few times during college; they have great drink deals both during the week and weekend. The place is a little dark but the bands they get to play are AWESOME!

“Stuck in the 80's”
Reviewed December 11, 2011

Here's a bit of Fargo history that hasn't changed since it opened back in the early 80's. I hadn't been to the place in at least 20 years, when it was a local hot spot, and decided to see what it was like now. I was so surprised to see nothing had really changed since back when it was built.

The beer is reasonable, but the atmosphere is early Urban Cowboy (without the mechanical bull). Sorta' fits with the 100 idling semi's outside.

It's not for the person who frequents Old Chicago, but if you're into sitting in a "working man's bar" where expletives fly constantly, then this place is for you. If your date rates anything higher than an "8", then you're guaranteed she'll be approached by several of the inebriated patrons wanting to get to know her better.

Not my thing, but I'm sure there's a lot of folks who would be OK with the environment.
