“Great, All year long.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 3, 2014

The Red River Zoo has changed a lot since my first visit back in 2008. Even with the frigid temperatures of our winter, we managed to enjoy our morning at the Red River Zoo. The otters were having a blast in the snow and the red panda's were basking in what little rays of sun they could manage to rest in. Most of the animals loved the sunny winter day, and were very active. This allowed us to get some great photographs and made the frigid temperatures a little more bearable. Love the progress that is going on here and the ethical conditions of their living collection. A visit is well worth it!

“Great little zoo”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 19, 2014

Our family loved the Wolf enclosure and viewing area, the river otter pool, and the goats. It's not a huge zoo, but it seemed to be well cared for. with friendly staff.

“Great day in the Sun.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 7, 2014

My wife an I visited the Red River Zoo in the morning right after opening at 10am. July's in Fargo are quite warm, so heading over at opening gives you a better chance at seeing more animals, being more active. Made it through in under an hour and as members, we got in at no additional cost! The biggest hidden gem in Fargo-Moorhead.

Have been many times. Always something new. Weekends only in the winter. The smaller walking area is nice for young children
