The Red River Zoo has changed a lot since my first visit back in 2008. Even with the frigid temperatures of our winter, we managed to enjoy our morning at the Red River Zoo. The otters were having a blast in the snow and the red panda's were basking in what little rays of sun they could manage to rest in. Most of the animals loved the sunny winter day, and were very active. This allowed us to get some great photographs and made the frigid temperatures a little more bearable. Love the progress that is going on here and the ethical conditions of their living collection. A visit is well worth it!
