The Fargo Civic Center, until the Fargodome showed up in the early 90's, was the largest event center in Fargo. There are often some pretty cool events there, such as craft shows and charity breakfast events. Once in, it's a very comfortable facility with adequate bathrooms and such. The only problem with the Civic Center (and probably why the Fargodome was built) is the parking. Attendees often park blocks from the place during very popular events, so be ready to walk unless you get there early. Improvements have been made, however, and the situation isn't as bad as it used to be.
