We stay here often due to the pirates bay pool attraction. The kids love it. The rooms are usually nice but don't get a handicapped room, your window opens to a wall and it's a very noisy room. We got put in one when they overbooked one night. Their hot tub has lots of chlorine so shower afterwards or you will get a rash, something Ive heard from several people. They don't offer continental breakfast and their buffet is not worth the money if you have children. The rooms are nice and very clean. We were imposed with the service and how fast they brought cribs to our room....cribs instead of sticky cloth pack and plays. Overall it's a fun hotel for kids but spends if you are just traveling with adults.

I'm glad your children enjoyed our Shipwreck Bay Water Playland! It certainly is extremelly popular with the kids. We regularly (several times a day) check our chlorine/PH levels in the pool as well as the jacuzzi to make sure that they are where they are suppose to be by regulations. We want to make sure your children as well as yourself have a safe and sanitary visit to our hotel.

Thanks again for staying with us and we look forward to your next visit. Shawn ~ Assistant General Manager

We stayed here one night last week on our way to Minneapolis. This is normally not the chain we stay with but our regular was full. We were pleased with the hotel overall. The swim area was a lot of fun for our granchildren. It is best for kids 8 and under in my opinion. The staff around the pool were very pleasant and helpful. They provided tons of towels for the kids and we could have a drink poolside. The beds were excellent, nice and firm mattresses. The hotel was clean. The only problem we had was not enough hot water in the morning, though there was at night...so shower before bed. The hotel is older and its room numbering system a little confusing. The a/c worked very well. They have a restaurant with reasonable prices for their breakfast buffet and the kids eat free from the kids menu. We were happy with the food. We would stay here again.

We are glad you chose staying at our hotel on your trip to the Twin Cities. We would like to become your "brand of choice" for all your future stays. It's great to hear that your grandchildren enjoyed our pool area as well as you. Thanks again and we look forward to your return visit! Shawn ~ Assistant General Manager

Friendly staff, everyone greets you, even the maids as you walk down the long hallways. Rooms are fine, clean and with a good TV.

Aircon works good, in fact too good, so be careful not to set it too low at night. Bed is comfy and nice down comforters, but the pillows are too soft for my liking.

Cafe serves good food, and staff is prompt with service.

Reserving a room online was fast and easy on their website. When I checked in I was shown on a map that my room would be located near the outside entrance to the pool and bar, I asked for a quieter location and was given 3 options. When I returned I was looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub to get there and have it boarded up. Children appeared to be enjoying the ship in the pool. The room was noisy after all and I was woken up several times throughout the night by neighbors. The soap and shampoo was good quality and the room was clean. The lobby was also very nice. I was disappointed in no breakfast options. The motel is close to the mall, interstate and the middle of town. It is a great and safe location.

We came to this hotel to check on the quality of the bed (can't stand old soft beds) the front desk clerk was snippy and a tad too sarcastic in a mean way. When we said we'd have to discuss it, he spoke rudely to us. Perhaps it was just him having a bad day, but in customer service there is no excuse for this. Went to a hotel that has much better customer relations The Fairfield.
