This is a beautifully renovated hotel. The rooms are sparse but clean and tastefully decorated. Best price we could find and really not that far away from all the shopping we'd come to do. But the weekend staff....kind of harsh for a business in the hospitality industry -- the Monday morning staff made up for it -- so they still have some work to do to polish up the old place as most vacationers will arrive for some part of the weekend.
The breakfast was full and what we've come to expect -- again not well replenished on the weekend -- and having someone come to do messy clean up work on the ducts in the room 20 min before breakfast closes is a poor judgement call. I think RedRroof is on its way to competing with the chains by the mall - but it has a few wrinkles to iron out.

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience at the Red Roof Inn. Yes the renovation looks beautiful. I'm so glad you could enjoy it. Please accept our sincerest apologies for the issue with maintenance in the breakfast area. This should have not happened. Also I will be retraining the staff on weekends in the area of hospitality. Hope to see you on future visit to Fargo.

We needed a reasonably priced hotel that accepts dogs in that area of Fargo. Our relatives were moving into an apartment a few blocks away and we were helping them get settled. This was the perfect choice! We requested a ground floor, king room with fridge and that is what we got. While checking in I asked if the fridge had a freezer for our dog food. The friendly lady said it didn't but we were welcome to use the hotel freezer. So every day whoever was on duty at the desk went to the freezer to get a pkg. for us. That alone was a big plus for us. The room had everything we needed, the shower was impressive, the bed comfortable. The breakfast selection was great. The staff was friendly. It is located very close to a freeway off ramp but is vey quiet. What more can I say? We will be back next year when we visit our relatives.

Room Tip: The hotel is located next door to the Fargo Visitor's Center. The Visitor's Center is a big...

Very nice, not like any other red roof I've stayed in. Breakfast was like a Holiday InnExpress, not just some old rolls. Would recommend this to any business person. Marcie P was very welcoming and friendly. Will plan on staying everytime I am in Fargo.

Newly remodelled .....very clean....not finished renovations during our visit. We only stayed one night but the room was very comfortable for that period of time. The room had 2 double beds that were very close together. The bathroom was right next to one bed and only had a sliding pocket door .....awfully small...sink was outside beside the bed.....small shower....very cramped space and if you were a large person it would be very uncomfortable..TV and small fridge were in the room.i would not want to stay in this room for a longer period of time.

Room Tip: Ask for a larger room

We stayed here for 2 nights. Our first impression as we walked into the hotel was..."WOW, La Dee Dah!" The decor was very modern, and it looked high end. The lobby and reception area was very welcoming. Right away, we were greeted by the lady at the front desk who checked us in and explained when the hours of the complimentary breakfast was, info for wi-fi / computers, and where the ice machine, and pool hours were. We inspected the room and it was very satisfying, it had no odour and the room was very clean. The decor around the hotel, and the granite countertops in the rooms were a nice touch, it felt very cozy. The room was also pretty quiet, minus the hallway noise coming through under the door. The rooms were also a little on the smaller side, but it was perfect for two people. One negative comment I would have is the sink faucet, it was short so...for example: it was hard fill a bucket of water. However, overall it was a pleasant stay and really loved our visit here!

I want to thank all the staff at Red Roof Inn for their wonderful work! The caretakers were all so very sweet too!

Had to get two rooms so wanted reasonably priced hotel. They had just got done remodeling and rooms were exceptional with decorating and modern TV, walk in shower which I like and breakfast was excellent also. They must be starting to upgrade the Red Roof Inns. I was quite impressed.

Room Tip: Right on freeway. Didnt have an elevator so had to climb stairs to second floor. Maybe ask for roo...

My Husband and 8 month old daughter spent the long weekend in Fargo and stayed at this hotel. Front desk staff was very pleasant and friendly. Our room was quite nice and we especially liked the laminate flooring--no yucky carpet feel which is what we usually get at other hotels! We requested a pack and play for our daughter to sleep in and was provided with one right away. Albeit the pack and play was broken but a replacement was brought to us just as quick and was in tact. This hotel is not fancy but definitely met all out needs for our short stay. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and complimentary breakfast items provided. Its proximity to shopping was also excellent! My only suggestion is to have a towel bar attached to the wall next to the shower...it was a little inconvenient not having my towel accessible.

We are heading back to Fargo as our car died there and is at Schumaker's autobody in Downtown Fargo and will likely be staying at Red Roof Inn again! Thanks for your hospitality.
