The Harvest Inn is a fairly new hotel in Ellendale. I wouldn't call it luxurious, but the accommodations were nice, modern and clean smelling. There is also a lounge in the back with several flat screens and its own entrance. I noticed a kennel in the back for those traveling with pets.The clerks were all very nice and helpful.
That's the good news. Here's the not-so-good news;
They offer a continental style breakfast from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. which consisted of hot coffee, a bowl of fresh fruit, a loaf of bread and a package of bagels. The coffee was pretty weak so I usually headed over to the quick stop in the morning and bypassed breakfast all together.
There is Wi Fi available, but the connection was so slow, I got timed out before I could even get started and got frustrated enough that I just gave up. There is a computer set up near the front lobby for those who really need to access the internet.
They have a concrete parking lot around the building, but both entrances are dirt roads. Since it had been raining for some time before and during my stay, there was at least 5 inches of mud to sling through and it made quite a mess of my rental car.
Even with all my complaining, it's still the best hotel in town and I will probably stay there again.More
