This is a nice hotel. The staff is friendly, the breakfast good, the location convenient, the fish cleaning station great and it's brand new--super clean. With all the positives, we debated on a five rating, but we didn't because;
-The room is not real big and the king bed, though comfortable, took up a lot of space. The flat screen TV is nice, but small.
-It's not very sound proof. Five AM noise from the hallway and loud coversation from the room next door. Most likely fishermen leaving early.
-Constuction material of some kind left in the wall mounted heater/AC. It worked fine, just didn't look good.
-The pool and hot tub are small. It didn't take many people to make it crowded and loud.
-It is fairly pricey at $100 plus for the AAA rate, although probably compareable with other newer hotels in the area. At 10,000 points, Choice Privileges was a better deal.
So, really no major complaints-just not 100% perfect. It's a good choice for a fishing trip and we would return.More
