“Great Tour”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

Great tour of the State Capitol. The guide was very knowlegable, and was very helpful with some questions posed by my Aunt, who happens to be a history buff.

Tallest building in state. Go up and check out the view. Also the chambers are pretty cool. the cafeteria is good.

“Great views on the top floor”
Reviewed December 1, 2012

You can go to the top for a great view of Bismarck and in the summer they plant flowers that spell 'North Dakota" which you can see from here.

“Sky scrapper of the prairie”
Reviewed November 21, 2012

This building was way ahead of its time. So modern, and still a masterpiece. Don't miss the monkey wood, beautiful brass, and look for all the faces over the doors.

“Impressive”
Reviewed November 11, 2012

The entrance at ground level has biographies and photos of notable ND natives...ranging from Roger Maris to Eric Sevareid to Lawrence Welk. In typical ND fashion, there is a friendly and convivial attitude from state employees who are eager to assist in finding your way around. Also, the Heritage Center close by offers a view of the state's history and insights into what makes it one of the US's most prosperous states.
