Nothing to dislike about this place. So very interesting and it covers so many different things and times in ND history. You will truly enjoy this!

We love going to the heritage center, something to do to pass the time, it's free, it's educational. I always learn something new, and the kids always have a fun time too.

This center is currently under construction and according to staff will not be completed until late 2014. We had no knowledge of this and had traveled over 400 miles to visit. When completed, it will really be a gem!

There's a model of the USS Bismarck that was used to show congress what they would be getting for their money before it was approved to be built. Also they have the Silver Service that the officers mess used in the old US Navy. That was enough for me but of course there's much more.

There are many pictures and documents of the settlement of this area.

Also some nice pieces of early farming and transportation.

Some full size replicas of Native American housing.

Taxidermy of all the native wildlife.

And a full on paliantalogy exhibit, with a complete Wully Mamonth.
