Vintage Inn Bed and Breakfast
Ranked #1 of 1 Yadkinville B&B and Inns
Reviewed May 31, 2013

My wife and I recently spent one night at this wonderful B & B. The home is located on a spacious lot near the small town of Yadkinville. Its location is perfect for visiting the Surry and Yadkin County wineries that dot the countryside in this lovely part of North Carolina.

Sandy and Chip are the owners and hosts. Chip welcomed us upon our arrival and gave us a tour of the house that included familiarizing us with a well stocked rack of brochures from the many wineries we could visit in the area. We learned from Chip, and later from Sandy, just how much work they had done to prepare the home for their long anticipated venture into the B & B world.

Our room, the Zinfandel Room, was located at the front of the house on the second floor with the other varietal-named rooms. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was spacious enough for my wife and I to enjoy a comfortable stay.

We woke up to a breakfast that was prepared by Sandy and served by Chip. Without a doubt, this was a signature meal that left no doubt about Sandy's culinary skills. During the meal, we learned so much from Chip about the history of the home and the many interesting people who had either lived or visited there.

Chip and Sandy made every effort to please all the guests during our stay, and Sandy (a trained Nurse) even assisted one of the guests who experienced a nasty fall while she was out walking early in the morning. Sandy provided me with a perfect recommendation for dinner when I called her a couple of hours in advance of our arrival, and her description of what the dining experience would be was entirely accurate in every way.

If ever we return to the North Carolina wine country, Vintage Inn will easily be on our reservation list once again.

Room Tip: The Zinfandel Room is the smaller of the rooms available, but it large enough for a couple to feel c...

I just spent two wonderful nights in this amazing B&B. The wine tour is even more than I imagined and the inn is everything you want for a quiet time away. The sun porch and yard are great places to sit and visit...and of course have wine. Sandy and Chip, the innkeepers, make you feel right at home and have wonderful stories to tell about the area. Sandy's breakfasts are beyond wonderful!!! I look forward to coming back to the wine country and staying at this inn many more times.

We had a fabulous stay with Chip and Sandy! The Inn is so centrally located to everything there is in NC wine country. Rooms were so comfy and cozy....it felt like you were staying at home. Chip had some great restaurant recommendations. We loved the gourmet breakfasts and even got to meet Corky! Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Room Tip: Cabernet was great! Nice and big with it's own electric fireplace:)

We visited this B&B on our way home, after 3.5 wonderful weeks with our grandchildren. We spent 2 nights and went home feeling so relaxed. Sandy and Chip are wonderful hosts. Their attention to detail is amazing, from the fresh flowers in the rooms, the high quality soaps and shampoos, the guest books to read and add to, the delicious 3-course breakfasts served perfectly, plenty of games, puzzles and books to relax with, coming downstairs to all the lights on and a fire in the fireplace on a rainy, chilly morning, to a wealth of information about their home, community and the wineries! We spent a fun 5+ hours being escorted to 3 wineries by Chip, complimentary with a 2-night stay!! The home and amenities are elegant, yet so cozy, warm and friendly. We have already shared info about the Vintage Inn B&B with friends, and look forward to our return visits!

My wife and I took a mini vacation this past week in February in the Yadkin wine country of North Carolina. We chose Vintage Inn B&B originally for it's location. It was the cleanest B&B that we have ever stayed in and the owners, Chip and Sandy, are wonderful hosts. Sandy's breakfasts were delicious. And as a wonderful bonus, since we stayed two nights, Chip took us to 3 wineries of our choosing within a 30 mile radius. It couldn't get any better. Great food, gracious hosts, and a designated driver!!! I give Vintage Inn the highest rating possible. We have been to over a dozen B&Bs and this is among the best of the best.

Room Tip: All the rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. You cannot go wrong with any choice here.

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend to celebrate our 20th anniversary. Chip and Sandy were gracious hosts. Sandy is an amazing cook - our breakfasts were phenomenal! They are both very knowledgeable about the area and willing to answer any questions. The house is beautiful and well-decorated. Chip's wine tour was a special treat - it was so nice to not worry about driving! I highly recommend The Vintage Inn Bed and Breakfast!

Room Tip: The Cabernet Suite is very large, comfortable and well-decorated!
