We arrived early on a Friday evening (6:00) and had no problem getting a very nice table by the windows overlooking the intercoastal waterway. Enjoyed a cup of thick, rich new England clam chowder and a chicken/bean tostada for appetizer. The shrimp skewers were very good and nice size shrimp. Also shared a wonderful apple crisp with ice cream for dessert. Overall a very pleasant evening and the service was good, never had to ask for anything, very attentive. They do have the early bird special, appetizer, entrée and dessert for 25.00 so that was a good deal. They also have a great outdoor patio but it was just a little cool to sit outside that particular evening, but there were lots of folks out there enjoying the boats, paddle boarders and pelicans up close.

One positive is that the kitchen is open until 11 PM whereas basically nothing else but the Wing place is. They ran out of the fresh catch by 7 PM on the Friday we went. The Bacon Wrapped Scallop appetizer is very good. If it were in a restaurant in Tampa, we'd have given it 3-3.25 stars.

Lovely restaurant with well prepared food. We were there Sunday evening and the place was full of families and kids runnunig around. So not quiet or romantic or business-like but fun. I imagine lunch and Friday or Sat evenings are different. New England Clam chowder was very tasty but a tad too thick. Fried calamari delicious. Service was slow and inattentive. Server didn't seem to know what to do. Manager apologized and took a few $ off the check. Will try again.

Always a must visit....crab dip appetizer keeps us coming back. Fresh fish selections and great shrimp dishes are so delicious! Already can't wait to visit again. Located directly on inlet waterway...romantic dining location. Love to see the boats docked nearby. Family friendly, but also can be a romantic location as we'll.

On our trip to Wrightsville we crossed over the waterway to have dinner at BlueWater after getting several recommendations. It was a pleasant evening so we sat waterside on their covered deck. The scenery was beautiful, the food was delicious and the service was first rate. I took our servers suggestions to heart and ordered the fresh catch "slightly blackened" which turned out to be grouper. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned just right. Others at the table raved about the seafood lasagna (although the portion size could have fed a small nation!). The Chocolate dessert was perhaps the best part of the meal! As we are in Wrightsville frequently, we'll definitely go back for more.
