We had an oceanfront room (I think they are only 4 total) for 2 nights. the other rooms are side, ocean view rooms. The room was clean and fine for a short stay. The check in ladies were friendly. It's an older motel but suited our needs just fine. Our balcony on the ocean front room (we had the top left if looking in from the beach) was awesome! Huge and lots of seating available. There were two double beds in our room. I even liked that the lamps have outlets built in. The only negative about this place was that the water from the faucets was smelly! I would not brush my teeth with it again - it tasted gross. And the water pressure was minimal in the shower. But this is an older place and to be expected. The parking is located under the motel - we were allowed one spot per reservation so plan for that! The parking area is very small - it'll take a few maneuvers to get in and out but I'm glad we had a place to park that didn't require us to cross the street. They is also an elevator available. The hotel has a walkway that leads right to the beach from the second floor. Overall, a nice place. I would definitely return to this motel again in the future for shorter stays.

Room tip: Oceanfront suites are large, have a great balcony and are equipped with a small kitchenette.

My family enjoyed our recent overnight stay. The motel is not fancy but everything you need and very clean. Loved our 3rd floor balcony, the ocean access, the small oceanfront deck for guests, and being next to Johnnie Mercer’s pier. Biggest challenge was the tight parking deck and avoiding the concrete pillars. But hey, the parking was free.

I was in town for business and added a night to my trip at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Check-in and parking was quick and easy. The room was spacious with a kitchenette and full-sized fridge. The balcony had a view of the ocean. The hotel was not fancy but was clean and well-kept. 2nd floor has a nice spacious shared deck with seating for guests. There’s a fishing pier nearby and some good bars and restaurants in walking distance.

The hotel is located by the pier in the heart of Wrightsville Beach. The owners have no control but the noise, traffic and public bathroom really detract from the experience. We went for a quiet two days in March. It was not quiet or relaxed. A move across the hall would have changed everything! Room 216 is so close to the public restroom you can hear the flush!

Room tip: Get an odd numbered room away from the traffic and the pier!
