Our server for our meal, a Sunday early dinner, was friendly to the point of solicitude, but even if he hadn't been so attentive, our party of six would have liked the casual vibe and good food. The Filling Station serves up Italian-style dishes, such as Tuscan Chicken and tortellini, and American standards, such as pork tenderloin and a surf-and-turf combo, with equal aplomb. Calamari and spinach-artichoke dip were conventional but well done appetizers, and we enjoyed the Australian wine recommended by our server. They were out of three out of the five desserts listed on the menu, but two that we ordered, chocolate pecan pie and lava cake, were suitably decadent. We left in a great mood!
