Club sold etix to its shows and never kept count of tickets, took reservations made that day over tickets sold. Management turned away 40-50 people while only providing the solution of 2 free drinks to club next door and available seating to the 10pm show. We asked for a refund of our 6 tickets purchased 1 month before the show, got it but then they didn't want to pay for the fees we were charged, eventually got that. Was told that even if we buy tickets through etix we still need to make reservations. We were also given $10 tickets to a local only event; useless to us.
Management completely failed to plan for a known national act, over sold, did not come out to talk to the people themselves instead leaving it up to a nice but overwhelmed front desk girl. I would say it's because this club is new but they have been 10 months and most bugs should have been worked out.
In the future I'll stick to Comedy Zone in Charlotte who has a smooth online process and good management. Unless this club makes major changes soon, it will leave a bad taste for people and not be opening longer.
