The Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts may have sold much of its collection, keeping its core, but what a core it is! A knowledgeable docent will lead you through multiple rooms of furnishings, representing different eras, describing the craftsmanship and background of the pieces. They're all beautiful, some breathtakingly so.
Not a tour for children, but adults interested in interior design and woodworking will find the Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts to be a highlight.
