“Serene”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

God's Acre is an old cemetery at the end of Old Salem. Grave markers are interesting to read as they described the individuals buried back then. Many were from other countries especially Germany. The cemetery is quite large and has sidewalks throughout. Take your time and enjoy this on a pleasant spring or fall day.

“Couple with a visit to Old Salem”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

This is a graveyard dating back to the early days. You have amazing views of downtown and is worth a stroll! Especially in fall!

“Gorgeous!”
Reviewed May 29, 2013

I love it here.

It's weird, but I walk through here on my lunch breaks at least once a week since I work near it and I find something new every day. It's peaceful and tells a history of Winston Salem.

“Introduction to Moravian beliefs”
Reviewed May 13, 2013

A quick education on the nature of Moravian beliefs. The graves are simple flat stones of the same shape. No one is special. The graves are organized by "choirs", with females on one side and males on the other. Well worthwhile to understand the size and nature of the community.
