“This is truly an amazing!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 13, 2011

This place was so historical and you could not help but be sentimental to the idea of it all. We walked through and read names and epitaphs and dates... The church and Gods Acre is a "must see"...

“God's Acre”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 12, 2009

Beautiful anytime of the year.
Men and women are burried on separate sides of the cemetary.
On the Saturday before Easter graves are cleaned and fresh flowers are put out in prepartion for the sunrise service on Easter Sunday. Christmas Eve and Easter are beautiful at any Moravian church in Winston-Salem. Moravian Bands are traditionally used for special services. Come early. Many times it is cold or raining.

“Quaint cemetery”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 1, 2007

Quaint, 18th century cemetery in Old Salem. Beautiful sunrise service every Easter here. Neat orderly rows mimic similar cemeteries in central Europe.
