First time in Winston-Salem this weekend for a wedding. The Bakery was around the corner from the hotel so I stopped in. Everything looked wonderful but chose the cinnamon roll and, WOW, it was amazing. The next day-same thing- amazing. The Krankies coffee was great- brought some of that home with us. The shop is so cozy and friendly- loved it ! A must when in Winston-Salem

Hi! This is Jonathan Milner. My wife, Cary Clifford, and I own Camino. Thanks so much for your glowing review of Camino! We strive really really really hard to create delicious drinks, scrumptious food (CINNAMON ROLLS!), and a lovely atmosphere. Our pastry chefs take great pride in their culinary creations and I'll pass along your review, it will mean a lot to them. We really appreciate your business and are so glad that you had a wonderful visit to Camino! THANK YOU. Next time you are up from Florida, we'll look forward to having you back in the bakery!!!!

Best,

Jonathan

Seriously amazing pastries, coffee, lattes, fancy coffee drinks i don't understand, and awesome service. Speedy but well made. Great to hang out and do work, stop in for a to-go cup, or enjoy the passerbys and chat with a friend. Worth a stop.

A few colleagues were recently talking about how amazing this bakery/cafe is downtown, so my husband and I had to go check it out for ourselves. And wow, how right they were! The place has such a cool, hip vibe, and the staff there are super chill and fun. We enjoyed a fresh baguette and a couple of cinnamon roll pastries and we loveloveloved it all! So yummy! After seeing some of the other pictures posted here, it looks like we'll have to make a few return trips to sample a few more of the goods!
We'd definitely recommend this place. Deeeelicious!

The Camino Bakery became a beloved downtown hangout the moment it opened in 2011. There is no time limit on the tables, so people come in for a latte or hot cider, fresh bread, sandwiches, and decadent sweets and stay for hours to quietly work or surf the internet. At dinner time, they have a special that provides two glasses of wine, home baked bread and cheese. It's a delight. Highly recommended.

Literally the best cream cheese icing ever. Great priced wines by the glass, fantastic pastries, wifi - a nice change from the standard Starbucks environment. Outside seating as well. Ordered 5 dozen cupcakes - including vegan - and they received rave reviews. It is a 3-4 times weekly stop while here in Winston-Salem.

Thanks so very much for your glowing review. We lived in Houston while Cary (owner) was in college, and enjoyed the vibrant food culture, so we really appreciate your positive words. We work very hard in the front and back of the bakery to make everything de-lovely and we aim to make everyone's trip to Camino a wonderful treat, so we're especially glad you enjoy your weekly visits to Camino. Thanks again for your patronage!!!!
