“clean,quiet,comfortable”
Reviewed January 25, 2013

I stayed on the top floor. I liked having a microwave and refrigerator in the room. Breakfast was pretty standard. powdered eggs - no worse than all powdered eggs. which is not edible. I loved having an indoor pool in January. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding lush. I slept very well in this quiet, clean, comfortable room. The staff was fairly so-so. No complaints, just nothing great. The room itself, was very nice. I am going to stay here whenever in the area again for work. Feels more upscale than a 'mere' Hampton Inn.

Thank you for taking the time to complete a review of our hotel. It is our goal to provide great service and accomodation everytime when visiting the Winston Salem Area. I also, find it very convenient to have a microwave and refrigerator when traveling in a hotel. It almost makes it feel like home. We strive to provide excellent service everytime a guest walks into our doors, however it sounds like we fell just short of that when you visited. I would encourage you to visit our hotel again when traveling to the area, and let us provide the "wow" service I know we can do. Thank you again for taking the time to let other travelers know how we are doing!

This is a great hotel, with a courteous and attentive staff. The rooms were clean, well furnished, and very comfortable. Overall my stay was a great experience and I would definitely make this my first choice when staying in the area. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed there for several months while in the area on business. The room is large with two beds that have very nice thick comforters to keep warm on chilly winter nights. There is plenty of closet space with iron/ironing board and a nice bathroom with coffee pot, hair dryer and lots of clean towels. Ice and soda machines are on every floor close to the elevator which is convenient. The dining area is spacious with two big screen TV's. The breakfast menu changes daily and has a large variety of hot and cold food to choose from, "very good too!". USA Today news paper is delivered daily. There is a large indoor swimming pool and exercise area with a patio outside that has table/chairs and a barbeque grill for the guests. Maintenance and housekeeping go to great lenghts and pride themselves in keeping the hotel spotless inside and outside. The hotel employees are kind, friendly and very helpful. The hotel is convenient to shopping and dining. I have stayed at a lot of hotels while on business and The Hampton is by far the best.

Room Tip: The corner suites are fabulous- Very large room, huge bathroom, couch and what looks like a twelve f...

I stayed here on a recent trip for business. The property appears to be fairly new and is in excellent physical shape. The decor is a little more upscale than you would expect from Hilton's budget brand.

The room was nicely appointed and had a microwave and small fridge. The beds were quite comfortable. The complimentary internet was offered in both wired and wireless formats and maintained decent speed. There was a flatscreen TV that had 57 channels and the majority of them were in hi-def (why can't other hotels do this?).

Like all Hampton's, there is a free breakfast. The food was typical free-breakfast quality - heat-n-eat eggs and a breakfast meat, make-it-yourself waffles and the usual assortment of breads and fruit. For dinner, there are plenty of restaurants in the area and you can even walk to the strip mall behind the hotel if you don't feel like driving.

If you need to be in the north Winston Salem area, this property is highly recommended.

I stayed there with my grandson in November and neither of us wanted to leave. We enjoyed the indoor pool every night then had cookies and hot chocolate which was a big hit for him. The front desk went out of their way to be friendly and courteous and our wish was their demand. The housekeepers did a super job keeping our room clean and if we saw them thru out the day they would smile and say hello. Breakfast was a very relaxing experience with a great selection and the hostess was speaking to all and paid special to the little ones. We can't wait to go back and be spoiled again!!

We stayed there for one reason. It had a indoor heated pool for our grandchildren to use. We checked in on 11/19 and the pool was closed until 11/23. When the repairs were finished it was too cold for adults to use but the grandchildren got in and shivered. We asked for a room with a bath tub and ended up with a disabled room. Nice big room I think the largest one they have. But no bath tub just a BIG shower.

Room Tip: If you really want a BIG ROOM get the handicap room on the first floor. It's very nice.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback about our hotel. I understand that during your visit our pool was down. Unfortunately, our pool heater needed to be replaced. I understand this can cause an inconvenience especially when traveling with children. I hope that when visiting the area again you will give us another try! Your feedback is very valuable to the hotel staff. It is our sincere goal to earn your business and to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
