After checking out of another hotel in the middle of the night, we walked in here and checked in with no problem. Very nice, new hotel in a newly developed area near Hanes Mall. The room was large, clean, and very comfortable. The beds were great too, they adjusted sort of like a Sleep Number bed which I'm not a fan of, but I was able to make it work :). We would definitely stay here again when in town.

We were looking for hotels in WS and were amazed at how few hotels were nonsmoking (this is the capitol of Tobacco-land). I was pleased to find this hotel. Its on the SW side of down, just south of I40. The hotel rooms were nice, lots of modern amenities; the beds were a cheaper version of a sleep number type thing---I don't think they really work as intended. Service was good.

There were good local restaurants nearby. The Firebird (nicer, steaks, seafood) is just down the street, past a small pizza shop. The Kernel Custard (yes, popcorn and custard) is sublime, and its just across the street.

A friendly and efficient welcome set the tone for this stay. The hotel doesn't pretend to offer all the frills, but it has solutions in place for most needs - for example, a small shop attached to reception instead of minibar facilities; an always-open business centre with decent computers/Internet and a useful printing facility if you're working in your own room; and a perfectly adequate gym and a small pool. A jacket needed to be pressed; the external dry-cleaners returned it to the hotel within 4 hours. And there is a decent all-you-can-eat breakfast for $8. This isn't luxury, but it's comfortable and excellent value.

I went with two friends to the Black Theatre Festival and had a fabulous weekend and the hotel was a large part of our enjoyment. The hotel's Director of Sales, Denise Smith had arrange to have a shuttle take the patron who were attending the festival to the various venues. This was something the hotel implemented for this weekend and not a normal amenity. A great idea that was greatly appreciated and one I hope they continue. Our shuttle drive, Rita was the BEST. They have a full order breakfast with best oatmeal I have ever tasted, everyone was raving about it. The staff was great, the room was great, the location was very nice. Whenever I am in Winston-Salem this is where I plan to stay.

I stayed her for a recent work visit to Winston Salem. The hotel was easy to locate just off the major highway minutes from downtown. The hotel was opened in October 2008 and it still had that new hotel smell. Nicely appointed lobby with a nice waiting are with large tv and a dining area and bar on the other side. My room was ready and check in was a breeze.

The room was standard Hilton room clean white comforter, flat screen tv and desk with high speed internet for a fee.

The hotel is just off Hanes Mall Blvd that has a lot of big box shopping options and good incase you forgot anything on your trip. There is also a variety of dining from fast food to higher end. I ate at the hotel the first night and had a good meal at a fair price worth it if you are too tired to venture out. The next night I walked to a nearby restaurant and also had a good meal. And a real treat is the custard stand across the parking lot.

All in all a nice new hotel with a good location for dining and shopping.
