Nice room for the $70 a night price. Not a luxury hotel, but clean and comfortable. Donna at the front desk was a pleasure to deal with, sweet and friendly. It's about a 7 minute drive off of 95, right next to the hospital. We had dinner at Jac's Grill which was excellent! Worth stopping for the night!
Stayed in Days Inn of Wilson in Sept an found the room clean and good cost for the value. This stay, I was faced with dirty carpet, stale sweatty smell, and air conditioner smoked so much it set off the fire alarm which front desk never came to repair with a battery. Not a good choice cheap is not always the best.
We chose this hotel since it was pet friendly with a reasonable rate for the pet. I was surprised that the beds were not blocked at the bottom so pets would not be able to go under the beds. It is hard to get a cat out from under a bed! Everything in the room was nice and clean except the carpet. No bare feet in this hotel!
I picked this hotel because it was close to my aunt's home at the edge of the downtown area. The room was nice and the continental breakfast was good. It was a little musty/humid in the room possibly because it had rained that day. We were passing through for a day and it was good for that.
