This was one of the best experiences of our life!!! We loved everything about this inn. The owners are the nicest people you will ever meet. The breakfast is unbelievable!!! Very pretty, and extremely clean rooms with impressive antiques...this is not a luxurious inn, but a very comfortable, colonial inn. Like coming home, only better....We will be back!!!!!!!!!!!! You would be lucky to be able to stay at the Taylor House!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Talk about southern hospitality!!!! Our stay was at Taylor House Inn was so fabulous. Scott and Karen go above and beyond to make you feel like you are the only one staying with them. Scott will greet you when you arrive as if you were a friend or family member returning home from a long journey. Then it doesn't stop there! Karen will make you the most elegant and delicious breakfast you have ever experienced. In between touring beautiful Wilmington, we couldn't wait to get a glass of Scott's Ice Tea with mint. Something truly refreshing that you have to experience. A warm and inviting adventure we highly recommend. The only trouble is you do have to check out and it was hard to say good bye to new friends.

Scott and Karen run an excellent Bed and Breakfast in Wilmington, North Carolina. The Taylor House Inn should be on your agenda if you're visiting anywhere near Wilmington. The house is full of history, the breakfasts are first rate, the lemonade Scott makes is out of this world, and the rooms are extremely comfortable and reasonably priced. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a few nights at this topnotch B & B. You'll see what I mean.

Our host and hostess made us feel so comfortable in their lovely home in Wilmington. Small extras, like early coffee in our room and timely daily cleaning of our room, made our romantic get-a-way very special. Our only teeny complaint might be that the shower wasn't large enough for two but, who would ask them to change their charming home for this small inconvenience.

I surprised my husband with a weekend getaway to the Taylor House Inn, for his 25th birthday. We absolutely loved it!! . We stayed in the LOVE room. The innkeepers were wonderful. They both were more than happy to make reservations for dinner for us and anything else that we might need during our stay. The breakfast was delicous! We cant wait to go back! :)

We planned a trip with several B&Bs during our 10 day jaunt from Florida to Virginia and back. Our stop off at Wilmington NC was supposed to be a simple passing through town and was not a planned overnight destination. We arrived into Wilmington in the late afternoon and decided we had enough travel for the day. We went to the Visitor's Center in hopes of them advising where we could stay. The B&Bs didn't even cross our mind as we were coming in on weekend and only passing through.

We consider ourselves very fortunate and blessed because somehow we were able to stay at this lovely B&B. I absolutely adore the innkeepers. Scott had me giggling and grinning during my stay with his clever wit and humor. We stayed in the Peace room and its name definitely matches the room; so beautiful and serene.

For me this was the highlight of my trip and it was by luck or someone's good graces that we happened on this beautiful spot. I can assure you that the next time I visit I will be making reservations. I would hate to not have the same luck :-)

Stayed this last week at the Taylor House Inn and had a wonderful time. We stayed in the "Love" room and were very pleased. The breakfasts were excellent in quality. We started with fresh fruit, progressed to pumpkin chocolate chip muffins and finished with either strawberry french toast or corn meal pancakes topped with sour cream and berries. Our hosts were very gracious and helpful in suggesting local events to attend, and the room was surprizing large and quiet. We would definitely return.
