My husband, his brother, and I spent two delightful nights at The Taylor House B&B. Scott warmly greeted us, told us about the area, and gave us excellent recommendations on places to eat as well as marking them on a map for us. What a wonderful location! We were within walking distance of almost everything we wanted to see and do. The inn is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, and we enjoyed having iced tea outside our bedroom door in the afternoons as well as a choice of coffee or tea every morning. We are vegetarians, and Scott provided meatless breakfasts for us. This was our first trip to Wilmington, but we know where to stay the next time we go.

My husband and I came to Wilmington to see a concert and have our first kid free trip since 1997! We had a wonderful time. The Inn Taylor house was very nice and clean. Scott gave us some restaurant suggestions that were helpful. It was nice to have coffee outside our bedroom and the breakfast was superb. We never meet Karen but hear she is nice. We enjoyed our breakfast so much with the other guests, so much in fact that the check out time slipped up on us. For that I am sorry. Plan on coming again, this is a nice 1 1/2 trip from our home. thanks again!

The Taylor house Inn is one of my favorite B&b'. This beautifully restored Victorian house is the perfect getaway. Upon our arrival we were warmly greeted by the owner Scott , who gave us dinner suggestions and detailed directions . The rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious . Breakfast here was a wonderful experience . The food was delicious and I loved hearing Scott's stories . You can tell from listening to him that Scott and his wife are passionate about restoration. This was our 2nd visit and both times the service and atmosphere have been too notch . We look forward to coming back here soon . If you are looking for a luxurious and romantic getaway for a great value the Taylor house inn is the place to stay .

Both of our stays have felt like we were at home and just coming back to visit a dear friend. Morning breakfast is served on fine china with an amazing meal atop, your coffee cup will never run dry. Scott in very attentive to every guests needs. We look forward to our next stay at the Taylor House Inn.

If you're going to be in Wilmington NC, the Taylor House Inn is an excellent place to stay. The house is very welcoming and comfortable, and Scott is great with letting you know about the area attractions and giving directions. It was great to have coffee available just outside your room in the morning and the breakfasts that Scott serves are delicious! This is a B&B I would recommend to my friends and family.

My husband and I had the good fortune to stay at the Taylor House Inn in the historic district of Wilmington, NC for four nights. Our host , Scott, was attentive to our every need from the first phone call to place our reservation to welcoming us to the inn, showing us around the house and sharing information about Wilmington attractions and eateries. Our room, named Peace, was lovely in every respect, clean, comfortable bed, quiet and had a private bath. The only negative was the relative small size of the shower, but it is an antique home and we were happy to have a private bath. Scott's breakfasts were great and we rarely needed lunch they were so filling, so we could splurge on some fabulous restaurants in Wilmington and nearby Southport. Little extras, like sweet tea served in the upstairs hallway in the afternoon, and chocolates in the bedroom were greatly appreciated. Breakfast is served at nine, somwe made an early walk each day to Port City Java in downtown Wilmington, although Scott leaves coffee out at 8am.

We hope tomsomeday return to this lovely inn. We have stayed in many b&bs and this was one of our very favorites.
