“Seafood - satisfaction achieved!”
Reviewed November 10, 2013

Bar side is great for hungry, thirsty and loud golfers! Had raw oysters, steamed shrimp, and soup (She crab,New England chowder). All were great -quantity, quality and the prices were reasonable. We always go there on our annual golf trip.

“Great Food Great Atmosphere”
Reviewed November 2, 2013

The she crab soup is amazing you must try it! They offer locally caught fish and sea food. It was the perfect meal for a romantic date. The service is okay but they were busy it was a friday night so I wont be too harsh. Our waitress was working very hard that night.

“super delicous”
Reviewed October 29, 2013

This is a great, great place to go. The food is prepared on site and the fish is caught locally, you will see on the board which fish are the catch of the day. Great service and there is a wall of fame of people who have visited over the years. Don't miss this one.

“Incredible Seafood! This is a real gem!”
Reviewed October 29, 2013

Simply put -- this is a wonderful place for a great seafood meal. The daily offering of fresh fish varies with the catch, and may be prepared in a set of interesting ways. Try the Greek approach, or stick with your favorite grill or blackened. In all cases, you will discover the incredible flavors of well prepared food with thoughtful trimmings. For example, the Red Potatoes are just like the ones your Grandma fixed. Make sure you order Raw Oysters from North Carolina for your appetizer! They were some of the best I've ever had (Scotland and Maine and Boston included).

Desserts are essential. Sorry, but no matter how much you enjoyed the seafood, you must also order desserts. Again, they vary by season, but you cannot go wrong. The Pecan Cheesecake, the Strawberry shortcake, etc., are all done correctly. No standard bakery stuff here. This is the real thing you see on TV shows and dream about enjoying.

Worth the trip to Wilmington!

“Let's keep a secret - its restaurant week in Wilmington.”
Reviewed October 28, 2013 via mobile

Enjoyed our meal - fresh flounder simply prepared with herbs was delicious. Lightly battered and fried oyster were great. Service better than most.
But why hide the fact that you have a restaurant week, four course menu for $25, unless you ask for it? Hidden from view and not spoken about by wait staff, it was a well kept secret, until we inquired about it.
The city's restaurants work hard to promote and highlight the voluntary program in which dozen of restaurants participate. It you're not highlighting your participation, why bother to have the menu at all?
Overall, a very good meal and we'll be back!
