Nice guacamole and queso. The the margaritas are also very good. I happen to be a fan of Texas beef brisket barbecue and Las olas does a really nice try at this. The Street Tacos are a good choice also. The wait staff works very hard and are efficient, friendly, and helpful. This restaurant may be a little on the pricey side but the quality is very good.

On a Friday nights things get a little crazy busy, so plan for it.

Try the Mexican street corn as a side or appetizer. Food is consistently good and has shared menu of sister restaurant K38 at Wrightsville Beach,

The place was crowded when we arrived and had to wait about 20mins to be seated. I think they forgot about us since there were empty tables but we had to reach the front desk to be seated. The food was good and relatively fast, the staff was friendly

we used to like this place. something changed. high prices for what you get.
yes, the waitresses are just great. the food is really good. but the prices for
what you get are bad. there are many mexican restaurants here in wilmington
and you can great combination lunch specials for $5.99 that can be hard to finish.
here you don't even get a side after paying $12 to $14. surprisingly it seems every
mexican restaurant in town serves really good authentic food- and cheap, strong
drinks. even their drinks are expensive. the menu is very limited, too.

Held a business meeting over lunch, we had ample space in the back. This table was a good perch to people watch too. Nice small bar area up front and loved the music from my college days!

I had the chicken quesadilla and my dining guest had a chicken taco salad. The quesadilla had some kick to it but in a good way. Our waitress was attentive without being intrusive.

We were quickly seated for lunch, it is small but the tables turn at a good pace.

Invest in an order of guacamole, it was good with the chips.
