My husband and I stopped there a few years ago, so we decided we wanted to stop there on our most recent trip. We had an amazing breakfast at The Basics. My only issue is it is definitely not stroller friendly, but we managed.

There are plenty of cute little shops, galleries and eateries to occupy yourself with. Although we wanted to walk along the river, it was a rainy Saturday so we opted to try to stay dry and do some shopping as well. You can find shoes, scarves, paintings, sauces, nik nacs, souvenirs and just about anything else you are looking for. They seem a bit over priced, but many things are local and/or hand made. I am not sure if it was because it was a rainy day, but it was a bit stuffy inside the shops so plan on layering. Overall, a nice time killer.

A group of shops and stores in a wonderful old building. Free parking and also food / dining options make this a great place to shop.
Many craft and art stores with local artisans on display.

Loved this place! great place to spend a day walking around and shopping looking at the history of this beautiful building. The shops are wonderful and you'll find something for everyone from health food to art galleries and local made products. I suggest eating at the German cafe over Paddy's Hollow.

A very eclectic shopping experience. Great use of old buildings. Very friendly staff in pretty much all stores.
