Awesome food, we love the Nam Sod Pork Salad and Taki Soba Duck! This is a smaller restaurant.. great for a date night! Excellent customer service. the food is all prepared fresh, so don't go if you are in rush. Enjoy the experience and wonderful food! Same owners as the Catch

This small place was not found through Tripadvisor, my usual go-to but a local list of best-of's. Decent pricing, tasty food, a totally good find and well worth going back to try more of their menu. The server was friendly and able to answer questions about gluten-free for my dining companion. We both had the Vietamese bento box, one with pork belly and the other with duck. The flavours were excellent, as was the Thai iced tea. Will definitely be back next time I am in the area.

With only 22 seats in a ten-foot wide shop, it seemed to be a hole-in-the-wall joint. Despite the tiny size, it contains excellent food, mostly southeast Chinese and Vietnamese. It was better than we had expected as possible in downtown Wilmington. We got there for a late lunch and were essentially alone. The beer wasn't bad; a couple of California IPAs satisfied me. My wife had modest white wine that carried her through the meal. (Obviously, don't go to Asian restaurants to enjoy the world's best beer or wine; that isn't what they shoot for.) We split a pair of appetizers, the Shrimp Summer Rolls and the Crispy Pork Dumplings. The Pork Dumplings were excellent, with a spice sauce adding even more delight. The Summer Rolls were very good although not at their best, even with the excellent Hoisin Sauce. My wife had the Noodle Bowl "Honk Kong" with pork belly, which was very tasty but would have been even better if some of the fat had been trimmed off in the kitchen. The Nam Sod Pork Salad was superb, one of the best I've ever had during searchs for those through America. The unadvertised fish sauce in it was excellent and important to the combined final taste. We both love Thai and Vietnam tastes, and highly recommend visiting Phun for fun and great food. Our server Chelsea was very nice and was willing to spend a lot of time with us from behind the bar while we enjoyed the flavors. (Like many North Carolinians, she planned to visit California one of these days.) It may not be expected as top-quality food in southeast North Carolina, but it is well worth a visit to experience the best,
