“Debbie Does Dallas”
Reviewed February 7, 2012

we saw Debbie Does Dallas at the City Stage Theatre and had a great night out. Quite informal and noisy compared to British theatre, really good atmosphere, and a rooftop bar for before and after. You can take drinks in too, which is always a plus.

“Historic theater with lively bar for afterwards”
Reviewed January 24, 2012

Because this theatre is attached to a very popular night club, it is a fun place to watch a show. Beware though, my 6'4" husband had a very time in those SMALL seats!

“Great show but hard to sit through.”
Reviewed December 17, 2011

The back 2/3 of the theatre has very uncomfortable seats and no leg room and in some you don't sit facing the stage. But the only show I've seen there was Chicago and it was the most professional show we've seen here in 2 years. For movies don't go unless you can get a set in front of the rod that runs across the balcony. If you sit in the last 1/3 of the theatre it will block part of the movie so you keep having to duck under or over it to see. Also plan on getting there early because it can take a long time if you want to wait for the elevator unless you want to climb the 5 levels. The other reward for getting there early is that they have a great bar to help get yourself "in the mood" for what you are about to see.

“Causal, fun, laid back, and Worth the treck up the stairs”
Reviewed October 20, 2011

We went to see Avenue Q on a Sunday night. We purchased tickets that day and ordered the best seats available, which was not necessary. The theatre is super small, seats on on top of each other unless you are in the bottom seating area, any seat would be a good seat. The seats themselves are super tiny, so if you like to have your own personal space get an isle seat.

The theatre was a little tricky to find, it is on the 5th floor and the elevator was broke so we had to take the stairs. You get to the top and there is a small ticket office and then you notice there is a huge roof top bar and seating area on the roof. Absolutely beautiful.. I would definitely recommend this threatre we worth the price!
