We were here last Wednesday night (10/16) for another wonderful meal in a friendly and quite environment. One blessing of Big Thai II is it atmosphere. The dark setting encourages quiet and reflective conversations. This I one of the unique restaurants in Wilmington where you can go for a quiet conversations with friends. Other restaurants will wood floors, no drapes, low ceilings are just plain loud with too many customers.
This evening I had a variety of appetizers, too many, but I took the access home. I like their wine corkage fee - $8.00 if you bring in your own wine. If you drink two glasses of wine with dinner, you are saving money.
