I will echo many others...try the soups...very well worth it. The Zucchini Fries were awesome as well. We had a very large family party and made reservations. We were seated 20-30 minutes later than our reservation time so if you have a larger party, they are not really setup to accommodate that in my opinion. Our waiter was awesome and made up for any of the short-coming of our visit. I would easily give them a 5, but we had to wait for ever and ever for our food. The only saving grace was the sweet corn muffins they brought after we had sat for about an hour waiting. All in all, GREAT food. Great Server. SLOW Kitchen.

“Another Eatery - Thanks Trip Advisor!”
Reviewed June 30, 2013

Had lunch here today with 2 kids and hubby. The food was very fresh. Zucchini Fries were excellent as appetizer. Fish & Chips were beer battered and haddock was very fresh, large piece of nice fish, served with cole slaw and fries. My son had a blackened, swordfish sandwich which he loved. He said even the bun it was served on was great and he is pretty picky. Hubby also had the New England Clam Chowed. He said it was more southern style because of sprinkle of cayenne pepper and black pepper. Definitely was home made and fresh. They even served it with an unshelled clam in the middle of the broth for a presentation impact. It worked on me. Definitely recommend for all to try. Don't be surprised if you have a short wait but all good things are worth waiting for.

“Try the Soups”

Lobster Bisque and New England clam chowder are the best ever, shrimp / crab cakes are good too, if everything else tastes as good, they're golden.

“Great selection and choice of fried or broiled”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

Very good meal!!! We started with Grouper cheeks and the crab & shrimp dip. The grouper cheeks were a 2 bite -bite size pieces of grouper that were fried to perfection.(Probably about 10-12 pieces) Not a heavy coating, more like tempura type batter. Both appetizers were excellent!! They had a nice selection of appetizers and I would have loved to try the mussels & calamari too. Or come back and just have appetizers as dinner. Along with our appetizers they brought out small corn muffins. But these werent any corn muffins, they had a little bit of cinnamon added. Really, REALLY good!! Just different enough, but not ruined if you are a hard core classic corn muffin fan.
Dinner, there were 4 of us, so we had a lot to try. I got the stuffed flounder with lobster sauce on top, not fried (yah!!) Very good. The vegi's that were served with it were crunchy and had an interesting seasoning on top, dont know what, but not salt and pepper. Others at the table had platters where you could choose 2, 3 or 4 selections of fish. Broiled or fried. The fried oysters were not chewy at all. Melted in your mouth. And I'm not a big oyster fan.The fried shrimp too had a very light breading, not what I'm use to in Maryland. The coating gave it a nice crunch without ruining the flavor of the shrimp. The broiled version of the flounder and shrimp didnt look as good as the fried version. But there were no complaints with any of the food. The one thing I noticed, 2 people ordered 2 items on their platter, 1 ordered 3 items. I thought you would get less of each but the shrimp were both smaller and less, as was the piece of flounder. So, if you go, I'd order 2 choices on the platter not 3. We didnt order dessert, no room.
Oh, one addition to other reviews I've read. They only accept reservations for parties of 6 or more.
