My husband and I were going to spend the day in Wilmington. Having never been there and not having any time to plan we just took a shot in the dark and hoped for the best. It was a really hot and humid day and saw that the riverboat tour was starting in 30mins so we decided to jump on that and tour Wilmington from the water. It cost us $54 for the tour and lunch.
There was some history and intresting facts. Some nice houses but that was it. The rest of the tour seemed to be pointing out industrial sites that we were passing. The lunch was a buffet which just had cold cuts to make a sandwhich and a salad. I wish we had known that because we probably wouldve went to a nearby restaurant if we had time. By the time the tour ended we only had an hour to kill before we had to meet up with someone and that did not give us enough time to explore much more of Wilmington.
